They each reluctantly pulled out of her. Ezra nestled into Jackson's chest. "I'm sorry," Ezra whispered, but they heard her. "I should've got help instead of trying to break the fight up myself. If I had then none of this would have happened and no one would know about us. I wouldn't have to leave." Jace shook his head after buttoning his jeans. "You have nothing to be sorry for, Princess. I do. I let my stupid jealousy take over. This is all my fault." Ezra looked at him and sighed heavily. "Come on, sweetheart, let's take a bath." Jacob picked her up bridal style and led her to the bathroom trying to take her mind off of things. Jackson and Jace were left to ruminate over their fears and thoughts of what would happen in the next few hours.
Hannah Johns found herself parking outside the Scott mansion and sighed. She spent a lengthy amount of time talking to Celeste Scott about what happened to Ezra and was relieved to hear she was alright. The newfound information about her relationship status was a bit jarring and seemed out of character. Ezra loved people and making others happy, but she never put in the effort to do the same for herself. The way Celeste described their relationship it was quite apparent that she was not only happy, but very much in love. As she rang the doorbell, she looked forward to see for herself just how Ezra was doing.
The same Latina woman from her first visit opened the door and led her to the living room where Celeste and Jansen were sitting. "Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Scott." Hannah smiled shaking their hands. They heard shuffling behind them and turned to see the boys walk in. Walking in behind the tallest brother was Ezra. "There's my girl," Hannah smiled hands outstretched. Ezra gave her a small smile before running into her arms. "I've missed you, kiddo." Ezra gave her a squeeze. "I missed you too. I figured you were too busy on some amazing dates thanks to your profile update." Hannah laughed loudly. "Sounds like you're the one that's been busy with dates." The room stilled as Ezra pulled back. "Have a seat." Ezra sat between Hannah and Celeste. "A lot has happened since we first got here, Ezra. I learned some surprising stuff."
Ezra could feel the tears welling. "Look Hannah, I know you're going to take me away, but I just need to say something before you do." She looked up at Celeste and Jansen perched beside her. "I'm so sorry for causing any drama or issues. I have been to so many foster homes and this one exceeded my expectations. This one was a true home where I felt loved and cared for since my mother died. I really didn't mean to disappoint either of you. I promise all I ever wanted is for you two to be proud of me." The tears flowed like a river as she looked to her men who all sat on the adjacent couch. She smiled sadly at them. "I love you. I love you three so much that right now it hurts because this is goodbye. I don't regret a thing. I was meant to love you all and our relationship is the best thing that could ever happen to me." She let out a breath. "Thank you for everything." Ezra whispered before looking back at Hannah as she wiped her eyes. "It will take me a little while to pack, but I can be ready in an hour."
Hannah smiled at the teen and sighed. "Ezra, do you feel that while you were here you were coerced into doing something you didn't want to?" Ezra's eyes widened as she shook her head no. "Nothing bad happened here. I was happy and loved and cared for. I swear." Hannah nodded. "Mr. and Mrs. Scott, are you offended or disgruntled by the relationship between your sons and foster child in any way?" Celeste and Jansen shook their head no. "They make each other happy and that's all I could ever want. That's every parent's hope for their child." Jansen spoke up giving Ezra a smile. "Boys, do you feel that Ezra coerced you all into doing things you didn't want?" The boys shook their head. "We love her."
Hannah nodded before giving Ezra's hand a squeeze. "Well then my job is done here." Ezra looked at her in shock. "What? What do you mean? Aren't I leaving?" Hannah shook her head grabbing Ezra's face in her hands. "You were always the one for dramatics." Hannah chuckled. "Ezra, you're about to be an adult. You're also not the first foster child to start a relationship with someone in the same household. As long as it was consensual and the foster parents are not displeased all is well. You're not going anywhere, sweetie. It seems you've found your home."
