Ezra finished up grading papers in their expansive living room with a sigh. This was not the part of teaching that she loved. She enjoyed engaging with her students about literature and prided herself on being just like her literature teacher Ms. Gatlin.

Time had seemed to have flown by and life handed them each their own special deck of cards. As promised, the boys proposed to Ezra outside of Clarkson at their high school graduation. They had all gotten into UConn and moved into a nice apartment close to campus.

The summer before freshman year, the four had an intimate ceremony with family and friends. Ezra legally married Jacob as it was his idea for them to share her in the first place. Ezra didn't think their new lives as college students would consist of them being newlyweds, but it added to the experience.

Jace was drafted by the Huskies and ended up being a star player. Jacob majored in Performing Arts and went on to star in many plays held by the university and Broadway. Jackson started his college career in art, but changed in the middle of his sophomore year to political science shocking everyone but Ezra.

College was good to them and towards their senior year they had plans on what they wanted to do with their lives.

Jackson ended up working with his father, but made sure to spend the weekends tagging with Xavier and Jonesy. Xavier and Zoe ended up getting married soon after college graduation and had their son, Yves, a year later.

Jacob went on to star in his first major Broadway play after graduation. It was hard on him and Ezra as he was in New York, while they remained in Hartford. Jace ended up getting drafted by the Patriots, which was another strain on their relationship as he was constantly traveling for games and practice.

Ezra realized early in her college career that she loved to sing, but it wasn't what she wanted to do with her life. She thought about what made her happy and that was literature and science. She then took in the facts pertaining to her grades in both subjects at UConn and decided that being a literature teacher would make her happy.

Soon after their college graduation, they all found themselves working in their perspective fields. Ezra even got a job at Clarkson High, which made everyone laugh.

Their first year as full-fledged adults was not easy. Jace was recently drafted by the Patriots and Jacob was starring in his first major role on Broadway. Jackson was busy studying for the bar, but made sure to spend as much time with Ezra to make up for her missing partners.

It was this time shared that allowed Ezra to get pregnant with their first child. There was no doubt that it was Jackson's and he was thrilled. Missing out on Ezra's pregnancy milestones affected Jacob and Jace, especially Jace. She made a point to FaceTime every appointment and let them know her weird cravings, but it wasn't the same.

The Patriots ended up winning the Super Bowl, which everyone was so happy for Jace, but he secretly wished they hadn't gotten so far so he could be home with Ezra. The baby was due around that time and his greatest fear was that he'd miss it.

He almost did. The moment Jace landed back in Hartford, Ezra went into labor.
