Ezra ended up sleeping the entire day and they all realized at dinner that she was truly worn out. There was a shift in their family dynamic and all of them could feel it. "We're really happy y'all are happy," Celeste smiled at her sons as they ate dessert. "We're really happy that you guys are happy, too," Jacob smiled at his parents. "So, homecoming is next week. We've been so busy with the gala that we never got to talk about it." Jace looked at his mother and sighed. "We've had a lot on our plates lately. I don't even know if I want to go." Jansen shook his head at them. "You have to go. You're the quarterback and I know you'll make a great impression on the UConn scouts that will be there. You deserve to celebrate an inevitable win. Plus, this will be Ezra's first homecoming and you three need to show her off as your girlfriend. No more hiding. She deserves this." They saw the truth in his words and nodded.

"Yes, we get to go shopping again!" Celeste clapped cheerfully. Jansen just groaned and shook his head causing his sons to laugh. They finished up dinner and made their way to their rooms. They knocked out homework before watching tv, painting or playing the guitar. The guys didn't know how their relationship would look now that it was able to be out in the open. They were hopeful that it would remain as beautiful and loving as it was presently. Jace had an idea to take the whole family back to the country restaurant he had taken Ezra to for their first date. He knew his mom would love it and it would give him a chance to maybe sing another song to Ezra. She loved it the first time, so he was hoping lightning would strike twice. He just wanted to be a better boyfriend. A sincere and stable man for her.

Ezra woke up at 4 am and couldn't believe she had slept so long. Her lungs felt much better, but her body still felt worn down. She took a soak in her tub and just reflected on everything. It was all out in the open. Her relationship status was now out there and they no longer had to hide at home or in school. It scared her thinking about what her fellow schoolmates would think of her and their polyamorous relationship. Then she thought back to something Ms. Gatlin had told her. "The people that matter will support and love you guys for what you have and share. Those that shouldn't even be blips on your radar will hate, so let them and watch your love continue to blossom." She smiled at the memory before getting out of the tub.

She was awake and alert so she got dressed and packed up her schoolwork. Barry Allen followed her around happily and she smiled at the cheerful pup. "How you doing, little bean?" She said giving him lots of pets and rubs. She played with him for a little bit before looking at the clock and seeing it was 6 am. She wanted to see her men, but specifically Jace. She felt like they ended things on a weird note and she wanted to reassure him that she loved him even if she didn't feel he truly believed her words. She snuck over to his room and took in his sleeping form. She smiled down at him before getting into bed with him. She kissed along his jaw stirring him a bit.

Jace felt butterfly kisses all over his neck and jaw before opening his eyes. He couldn't help but smile down on her. "Hey," he said his voice still filled with sleep. It stirred something in her the way he spoke so huskily. "Good morning, my love." She smiled brightly at him causing him to pull her in closer. "I know that my word means nothing at the moment, Princess, but I am truly sorry for everything." She looked into his eyes and sighed. "I didn't say your word meant nothing to me, Jace. I know you're sorry and I forgive you. I just want us to be better. I want us to be partners. I want you to trust me." Jace rolled on top of her and cataloged the features of her face before speaking. "I do trust you, Princess. I know it doesn't seem like it, but that's my baggage not yours. I love you more than anything and believe in everything you say. I need to get help rewiring my brain a bit and I'm going to. I'm going to see a therapist about my jealousy and overall anger issues. I am going to be the boyfriend you deserve, Ezra. I promise."

Ezra leaned up and kissed him passionately. She knew he was serious about this. He was serious about them and she loved him even more for doing the work necessary to make sure they were healthy and whole. Jace knew he should just let the kiss simmer and settle, but his hands had other ideas. In moments he was removing Ezra's jeans and panties, along with his joggers, before sinking into her. They both groaned with pleasure at the sensation. "God, Princess, I love you." Ezra whimpered as Jace masterfully stroked in and out of her. He wasn't his usual rough self. This time he was taking his time. He was making sure she knew how precious she was to him. As he raised her leg to go deeper, Ezra forgot how to breathe. It felt so good, too good. "Jace, I can't, it's too deep." She panted as she clawed at his back. "You can take it, Princess. Take it." He continued his pursuit causing her eyes to roll.
