The lightbulb carelessly fell at my feet as my eyes wondered around the lower half of mono's face watching as his lips slowly formed into a sly smirk
"I bet you wanna see the rest" he teased getting closer as I felt the warmth of his breath fan over my cheek

My face grew hotter at his declaration "shut up! this isn't the time to tease me you silly bag boy" leaning down with a huff I grabbed the lightbulb we needed and turned away from him

Heading through thru a doorway from earlier, the first thing I spotted was six idly sitting down by a mannequins hand, at first glance her actions seemed harmless has I opened my mouth to call out to her

Only to shrink back when I heard a small snapping noise coming from her, furrowing my eyebrows I peered over her shoulder the best I could seeing her break the fingers on the hand like little twigs

Feeling a hand slide over my waist I jumped 'that better not be a damn hand I will not hesitate to break it.' I breathed out a sigh of relief when I felt a familiar sturdy chest behind me

Diverting my attention back in front of us I held back a shiver when six slowly turned her head over in our direction "Oh back already." Nodding I gripped onto the lightbulb with slight suspicion

"Lets go put it in that machine before something else tries to grab at us" spoke mono from behind me, in silent agreement we all started to head back towards the main area of the hospital

Rubbing my side I winced a tad before quickly stepping out into the brighter room of the main building, we headed down the hallway, I held my breath when we passed by a hunched over mannequin who seemed to be still

One of my hands left the bulb as the other slid over to monos hand slowly grabbing onto it, humming he took the bulb from me while holding onto my hand with the other, stepping forward he placed it inside the blinking hole with ease

A familiar noise filled the area shortly as the locked door from before opened up with a grumble, the room we all stepped into felt and seemed rather musty, walking past an abandoned wheelchair and some paintings we continued on

Above a light swayed back and forth gently, looking forward and stopping at a bright red light I glanced back at six who nodded at me before kneeling down like it was second nature

With a small sigh I went to her getting pushed up into a small hole, mono appeared at my side moments later "more alone time for us" he chuckled

Turning to the front I rolled my eyes at the sight of a mannequin blocking the doorway "here we go again" I hummed, mono rubbed my shoulder comfortingly

Seeing a light switch to the side I put the pieces together on what we needed to do, turning to mono I looked to see if he understood with a nod of his bag I jumped up and held onto the switch pulling it down and effectively turning the lights off

The room now engulfed in darkness as the light above flickered twice before giving out, a shuffling noise filled my ears as the clunking of movement got closer and closer

Suddenly the light burned out all together as sparks fell down, the noises sped up greatly I held my hands behind my back when mono finally turned his flashlight directly at the mannequin who had stopped under the bright light right in front of us

We slowly walked around it has mono kept his light trained onto it to ensure that it wouldn't run at us, right when he turned his back it tried sticking its hand out at us only to get stopped by the light above us

Now picking up the pace slightly we headed forwards deeper into the place as everything started to get dimmer, all around I could see mannequins standing or sitting

I followed mono staying by his side as he kept the flashlight turned on using the beam as our only light to see, we headed past many still figures as we crouched through a broken door

the new area we entered seemed to have even more mannequins than before, everything about this hospital gave me the creeps

The sound of clanking was heard behind us so we sped up towards a random bed sliding under it we narrowly dodged getting caught

We ran quickly to the door ahead jumping through it while breathing heavily I closed my eyes "Damn that almost caught m-" my back slammed against the door as a mannequin leaned through the window reaching its hand around my body

Squirming in shock and discomfort my body froze as I went still mono tugged me away from it with ease bundling me up against his chest he too breathed heavily "Y/N stay close!"

Holding me to him he moved the hair away from my face as he slowly held onto my hand "come on lets just get what we need and go" he spoke seriously has I nodded in agreement still staying rather quiet

Heading up through some vents we landed onto a bed that cushioned our fall, mono went ahead keeping me behind him as we ran down a hallway of doors

All at once it seemed time stopped for a solid second before chaos unfolded, arms after arms and hands after hands bursted out of the doors reaching as far as they could trying to snatch either one of us

The only thing I could hear was creaking and snapping of fingers desperately moving, we moved quickly when another door opened with a loud slam as a mannequin started crawling at a fast speed

"Oh hell no run mono run!" I yelped has I pushed him ahead while grabbing his hand tighter
