𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 (Mono X reader)

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲

Y/N Pov

Narrowly dodging the reaching hands of a crawling mannequin I huffed in exhaustion climbing up a filing cabinet mono following closely behind me.

Reaching the top I quickly crouched inside of the open vent in front of us, falling with a small thud I took a few seconds to regain my lost breath "good god Im never going to look at hospitals the same now"

Hearing a hum of agreement I glanced over towards mono raising my eyebrow at his hunched over posture "I really hate mannequins n/n" I just answered him with a laugh "we are so never doing this again"

Finally taking a glance around I spotted a cardboard box laying in the middle of the room "hey mono move the flashlight over here some" once the brighter light was upon the box I leaned over and peered inside at its contents

"Is that.. soap?" I looked down towards the floor in confusion, my eyes followed a trail spotting more soap on the tiled floor. I felt mono slide in beside me has his coat brushed against my back

Looking back to where we dropped off I saw a switch and grabbed onto monos hand dragging him over with me, I pulled it down with little struggle hearing a door open I lightly smirked feeling proud

We both walked further into the new room hand in hand, mono flicked his flashlight around and we both sighed when we heard the familiar clink of something heading our direction "man when is this shit gonna end"

We started to lead the walking mannequin out of the current room with it picking up great speed whenever the flashlight was not on it, I quickly git myself situated at the light switch getting prepared

Hearing it closer than before I jumped up and hit the switch turning the lights on effectively, I heard mono let out a sigh when he turned to me "I am so sick of these damn mannequins"

With a little bit of hesitation I leaned over near him and slowly wrapped my arms around his waist hugging him quickly, after a second I tried moving away but he held me in place to savor the small sweet moment

"I wish we could stay like this forever" he spoke up after a bit, I sighed quietly "yeah me too.." gently prying myself away I rubbed my neck feeling a tad bit embarrassed feeling my face all warm

Turning around I saw another box of soap and decided to start dragging in into the next room "well we better get this over with" mono hummed and followed me

After a few seconds I realized we didn't even need the soap box I could hear mono snicker from behind me "oh n/n you did that for no reason!" I bit my lip and rubbed my face with a small laugh "why didn't you stop me monO"

He just laughed more and pointed towards the empty wheelchair in front of us, with a small eye roll directed at him we both started to push the chair fowards, I climbed up first watching mono come up a second later

Mannequin parts were scattered all around the floor laying still and discarded, but of course we both knew that more danger lay further ahead 'when are we gonna get out of here..'

Mono stayed putting his light ahead of us staying vigilant in making sure there was no movement, tons of mannequins were standing still both mono and I ran as fast as we could eventually sliding under wood planks away from the chaos

The room we both entered had a electric looking chair directly in the middle of the room, I looked over my shoulder to see all the hands still trying to reach for us

I started to laugh at them "stupid things." Mono shook his head lightly but I knew he was amused as well, thinking I glanced over and spotted a ball laying on the tile. With a smirk I walked over and leaned down grabbing the ball

Walking back over I chucked the ball with as much force as I could muster right at the hands and laughing when the hand that got hit fell off and stopped moving motionlessly "yeah take that sucker!"

Looking back behind me I noticed that mono had already got us a way out has he was staring at me and giving me a mom stance "come on y/n lets go" he said in a strict voice. I couldn't help the laugh that spilled from my lips

I saw six waiting behind the bars of the room looking at us with some sort of dark patience, realizing she had our attention she slid the bulb into its socket and the bars opened up with a loud buzz

Both mono and I ran out of the room not once looking back at the mannequins, six grabbed the lightbulb out and we all head back towards the main entrance of the hospital

Once both of the bulbs were in place I pulled down the elevators lever and watched as it opened up finally, we all stepped inside the shabby elevator as we headed downwards

When the doors opened we found ourselves faced with a dark hallway, mono turned his flashlight on and we all started to walk ahead following the beam, walking past a pile of mannequin bodies I shivered

Just a bit ahead I saw a door with a cloth fabric hanging out of the hole above it, we all climbed up and through the hole. On the other side we were greeted with the sight of more motionless mannequins

I felt the urge to kick one of them but I held back, in a demented way it was almost like someone was in this place and thought they were a doctor because of all the body parts being sorted into piles

Seeing another door I heard a loud bang as mono gripped onto me keeping me still as we stared ahead of us.
