T H I R D  P E R S O N

a week after

chan stationed himself in front of the grill, choosing himself to be in charge of cooking the meat. sitting across him is yuna with her chopsticks, ready to pick up the cooked meat. chan looked at her with a little frown but the younger girl just answered back by smiling brightly.

today everyone of them decided to get together in changbin's house and eat barbeque using the remaining giftcards felix gave ryujin on her birthday. yes, today they're very much complete, all thirteen of them.

jisu sat on yeji's lap, making her let out a low grunt. she raised her phone in the air and lean back at her friend. " let's take a picture " jisu said and smiled at her phone. yeji gather herself and then smiled as well, wrapping her arms around her friend's small waist.

just as jisu was about to take the photo, someone snatched the phone from her hand. she and yeji turned around to see a mischievous ryujin. jisu stood up immediately and faced her.

" ryujin, gi- hey! " before she can finish her sentence ryujin already sprint away while series of giggles left her lips. jisu whined and run after her friend.

ryujin went near the pool and started running around it. every step she took made jisu's heart jump. she run after ryujin, begging her not to drop her phone on the pool or on the ground.

" jeongin! " ryujin called and left the pool, with jisu still running after her.

the said boy looked back and saw ryujin waving the phone in the air. he then also saw jisu running after her then let out a snicker, understanding the situation immediately.

ryujin let out a giggle and then passed the phone to her friend, who then started backing away as well. jisu reached ryujin and let out a breathy whine when she saw her hands empty.

" ugh! i hate you guys! " she whined and run after jeongin who now has her phone.

ryujin laughed at the scene before her. she turned around and went inside the huge house. the living room is quiet with everyone hanging out outside. she let out a breath and drop herself on the soft and comfy couch.

she stayed there for awhile, leaning her head back with her eyes closed. not long after that she felt something cold touching both her cheeks, making her open her eyes. there she saw hyunjin's smiling face looking down at her while he press two cold cans of cola on her cheeks.

" it's cold " she said, her voice getting muffled from the two cans pressing on her cheeks.

hyunjin laughed and then pulled the cans away from ryujin's cheeks. he jumped over the couch and sat beside her. he opened one of the cola and gave it to ryujin and the other one for himself.

" thanks " ryujin said and took a sip from it.

" oh, right " ryujin put her can on the coffee table and shifted on a position facing hyunjin. " what university are you going to? " she asked him.

hyunjin put his own can of cola beside ryujin's and then told her the university he'll attend. " why are you asking? " he added a question after.

" duh! " she eyed him and flick her hair back, off of her shoulder. " i'll go after you of course " she smirked making the boy laugh with flustered cheeks.
