when yeji and ryujin are finally out of my view i squint and tilt my head slightly to the side. ryujin's acting weird. she barely stayed for thirty minutes. and i'm pretty sure those cookies were made by mrs. shin. i mean, they look and smell the same. also, where did that came from? they aren't from chaeyeon.

i shake my head and turn around to open the door of my room. when i entered my room, i found chaeyeon standing in front of my study table. she's facing her back on me so i tip toed towards her. when i'm standing behind her, i wrap my arms around her waist and rest my chin on her shoulder.

" what ar- ah! no! " i was about to ask her what she was doing but i saw her holding the puppy stuff toy ryujin got from the claw machine.

i pulled away from chaeyeon and snatch the stuff toy from her hands. i don't really mind her holding it, but she just ate cookies and she might get some crumbs on the stuff toy. i checked every side of the stuff toy to see if it got dirty, gladly it didn't.

" i- sorry " i look up and when i met her eyes, my furrowed eyebrows relaxed and i smiled at her.

" it's fine, i just panicked that this might get dirty " i glanced at the stuff toy and put it back down at my study table.

i look back at her and she's now staring at the stuff toy. i stand beside her and pulled her with me so we can sit down on my bed. her eyes are still on the stuff toy, weirdly.

" where'd you got that? " she asked and then turn to look at me. i raised my chin high up and grin at her. this made her snicker at me, finally she smiled again.

" the arcade " i said, a matter of fact. i mean it's really from the arcade, though it wasn't me who got it.

chaeyeon gasp and glance at the stuff toy again before chuckling. she tuck a few strands of her hair behind her ear and look back at me with a grin.

" you won that? impressive " she said while nodding her head.

i sighed and pursed my lower lip as i look at the stuff toy, an attempt to avoid her eyes. " ryujin got it though " i smiled and rub the side of my neck.

" but i was able to get a llama stuff toy, then i exchanged it for that " i added and explained immediately. i turn to her and she was nodding her head while looking at me.

breath got stuck on my throat when chaeyeon reached for my hand on my lap. i relaxed immediately and smiled at her. she started playing with my fingers, her eyes focussed on them as well.

" we should go to an arcade too, someday " she whispered, her eyes not meeting mine. if it wasn't quiet in my room i might not be able to hear that.

the side of my lips raised and before i knew it, i'm already smiling. i raised my other hand and put it on top of hers. she look up at me with a small smile and a slightly furrowed eyebrows. the innocent and adorable look on her face sparked something in me. i lean quickly and plant a kiss on both of her cheeks.

" of course " i said when i finally leaned away. her cheeks are light red and i'm pretty sure mine is too.

we stayed like that for awhile. hands on each other while we talk about things we want to do in the future. our little fun moment was stopped when chaeyeon received a message from her sister, chaeryoung.

" what is it? " i asked and watch her as she hold her phone. she look up at me and smiled in an apologetic way.

" i have to go home, appa will be home anytime now " she said and stand up. i stand as well and follow her as she walk to my window.
