i ignored everything around me. my heart beats faster than usual, i can't hear anything but it and my feet clashing with the tiled floor. every beat fasten after each second passing by. beads of sweat covers each side of my forehead, slowly dripping down and outlining the side of my face.

after reading that note, my mind gone lost and all i can think about was her. where is she? how is she? who did this to her?

she may seem strong at first sight but no, she's a fragile girl. i have to get to her as fast as i can. whoever did this, they better not touch her or i'm gonna take the life out of their bodies.

no, no no. please! where is she? please please, please be just a prank. please! i haven't spend much time with her yet. please be safe. there are a lot of places i still want to go to with her. there are unspoken words i haven't yet told her. where is she?

i ran out of the building, hoping she's somewhere near. my steps slowed down as i roam my eyes around the area, hoping to see any sign of her. her hair or her eyes, anything! just show me a sign that you're alright! and that i'm being paranoid for nothing!

it was quick, but i swear. i swear i heard her laugh. i roam my eyes, wondering and hoping i can hear it again.

" where? where are you? " the words left my lips in a breathy way. i don't even know if i am still breathing. i can't feel anything but the yearning i feel for her.

there. there she is. i feel all the heavy weight on my shoulders gone away when my eyes landed on her figure. without me knowing, i was already running towards her. when she was near me, i can't help but grab and hug her tight.

a gasp left her lips because of the sudden hug. i can't blame her, i was too sudden. i buried my face on her shoulder, tightening the hug slowly.

" you're safe, thank god you're safe " the words that left my lips were muffled since i have my face buried on her shoulder. i just can't help it, i'm so glad she's here with me.

" hy-hyunjin? what's wrong? " she asked, surprised because of what i did.

i put my hands on her shoulders and push away from the hug to look at her worried face. " t-there's a note in my locker. it hinted on something about someone taking my girlfriend and i... "

i took a deep breath, still breathy after all the running i did.  " i was so worried. i'm so glad you're safe " i finished, smiling at her.

there is a confused look on her face as she register the words i said. i know it is confusing for her but i'm very glad she's safe and here near me. it's like all the worry and nervousness in my body dissolved in thin air.

but then, a gasp was heard from chaeryoung. me and chaeyeon turn to look at her sister who has her right hand covering her mouth. her eyes are widen and they are focussed on the building behind us.

" chaeryoung, are you ok? " chaeyeon carefully asked her younger sister.

i watched as chaeryoung's hand fell from her lips, ignoring her sister's words. a word left her lips before she break into a sprint back towards the school's building.
