the bells rang, signalling that it's time for our lunch break. i stood up from my seat and started collecting my stuff. jeongin tap me on my shoulder, making me look up at him.

" ryu, i'll get going " he said and skipped out of the room after i waved at him. we used to always go to the cafeteria together. but today is not that day.

i turn around and made my way out of the room. it wasn't a surprise to me to see hwang hyunjin standing by the door with a smile on his face. since the day we talked about the rules, he's been doing this and he's good at it.

" hey " he said once i finally reached him. he grab my binder and pencil case from my hands and put it on top of his.

" hey to you too " i said and snickered as we make our way to the busy hallway.

students smile at us and some didn't mind us at all. it's been a week and few days since we started this. most people smile at us now and the drama before slowly and slowly fades away.

during the first day everyone's talking about how we're all over the place. well not literally but, unlike before we're now public. and as time goes by, they start getting used to us being together all the time. some doesn't even care about us anymore.

i laughed at something hyunjin said and exactly at the same time, we walked past jungseo and her friends. they rolled their eyes at us and i can still feel their eyes on my back. i hate those three. but that's not the part that i hate the most about this.

it's when we encounter chaeyeon.

i know, i admit, sometimes it all feel so real. i have never been this real to myself. but then we'll see her. it's like a huge wave of water splashed on my face. then i realize this isn't true. not real at all.

also, the way hyunjin will stiffen up and become distant adds spice to the fact that i feel guilt. who wouldn't feel guilty? the two of them love each other and then you'll go in between them and seperate them from each other.

i pressed my lips together as we walk towards the cafeteria. hyunjin's been talking about how his class go and all i do is nod my head and laugh when he laughs. i don't really understand anything he says though. i was spacing out. my brain's too preoccupied.

" hi ryujin eonni! hi hyunjin oppa! "

yuna appeared out of nowhere and squeezed herself between hyunjin and i. when she successfully separated us she let out a chuckle and cling her arms around mine.

" hi yuna-yah " hyunjin cooed and mess up yuna's hair. this made yuna groan and glare at hyunjin.

" be careful hwang, she's a beast " i said and let out a chuckle at the way hyunjin started getting scared. yuna hummed in agreement and continued at glaring at hyunjin who's obviously terrified by her.

we finally arrived at our table. everyone's already there except the three of us. well we're the last ones to arrive. yuna let go of me and sit between felix and jeongin. she smiled widely at everyone and snatched a piece of fries from jeongin's tray making him groan.

when my eyes met with jisu's she tap on the space beside her and i gladly accept it. my legs are tired. since jeongin is sitting in front of me, i extended my arm to snatch fries from him too. he groaned again and i just snickered as i munch on the fries.
