i huff and leaned on the wall beside the schools doors. i am with yuna as we both wait for yeji and jisu to arrive. they told me they're on their way already but that's like fifteen minutes ago and as i remember, jisu's house is less than fifteen minutes away from here.

i'm starting to get impatient. not to mention the looks the other students give me. to be honest, everything improved a bit. those stares became less than yesterday and the weak feeling inside me... it kind of faded away but not completely.

i try to ignore it all and display my straight bitch face but there's still this small amount of weakness in me that i just can't throw away. it's fine, i'm ok with it. some things are just better to do step by step.

" eonni " yuna called, making me turn to her.

she showed me the pack of licorice on her hand as she chew on a piece of it. she's been offering me that for the nth time and i've been rejecting it. but since i'm very impatient right now, i figured it does taste good anyway.

i grab a piece from the pack on yuna's hand and started chewing on it. oh, it's been a while since the last time i ate this. right at the moment, two familiar figures jog their way towards us.

" ryujin-ah! yuna-yah! "

the two oldies stopped in front of us. jisu smiling brighter than the sun and yeji already frowning as usual. she saw the licorice i and yuna are eating. this made her smile and grab a piece as well from yuna.

" good morning jisu eonni, yeji eonni! " yuna greeted the two and let them get a piece of licorice from the pack in her hand.

" what took you guys so long? tsk " i groaned and crossed my arms over my chest. jisu chuckle at what i did and took baby steps towards me to engulf me in a hug.

" good day to you too ryu-ryu " she said and cooed as she pat the top of my head. i grunt and lightly push her away from me.

" nice to have you back lady " yeji chuckled as she chew on her licorice. i smirk and roll my eyes at her playfully.

" whatever, let's go "

i turn around and lead the way inside the building. of course as usual, a lot greeted me but unlike before, some greeted me with eye rolls. that's not really making me feel good but since last nights' homily with yuna's mom, aunt, i realized i just gotta answer them with eye rolls as well. and so i rolled my eyes at those people as well.

jisu matched my pace and started blabbing about things we usually talk about. like how she saw a brand new open nail and hair salon spa, or like how she thinks that i'll like this cute guy she saw from another school, or even how she just wanna burn the whole school down. but today is not a normal day, and i'm trying to make it as normal as i can, so everything she says goes out of my other ear.

the drama happened yesterday and i know i'm starting to not mind it, little by little, but of course it still bothers me. it feels so annoying. but i'm a bit happy now since i'm not feeling as weak as yesterday. and that's the one that matters now. i'm getting stronger again, and i will be stronger than ever.

" hey! " yeji called out to me as yuna pulled me into a stop. i shake my head and turned to look at them. yeji rested her hands on her hips and raised an eyebrow at me.
