Kevin's POV

"Hello cub, guess what day it is?" A soft voice whispered with joy, a soft giggle followed right after it, as a beautiful woman with a gentle smile appeared though the rest of her face was unrecognizable.

"Come on my little one. You must wake up if you want to spend the rest of the day together, as promised," she said happily before moving closer...

Suddenly the sound of my phone going off had unfortunately woken me up as I now stared at my roof. 'Damn it...'

I growled slightly then lazily rolled over to grab my phone off the nightstand and glanced at the caller ID, before begrudgingly answering the phone with a sigh.

"Hello..."
-'HAAAPPPY BIIIRRTHDAY!!!'

I quickly pulled my phone away growling 'It's too early for this...' Sitting up I ran my fingers through my hair to calm myself down before just putting my phone on speaker, setting it down as I got out of bed.

"Stop being so loud dumbass,"
-'Sorry. Sorry, but still. Happy birthday and good morning~'

I rolled my eyes and sighed heavily 'Sometimes, I wonder. Should I just call the cops on him? Or let him just be him?' "Well, you've let him be for all this time now. There's no going back now pup," I sighed once more at what my wolf said to me.

"Morning..."
-'Thanks. So, what'cha plannin' to do on your 18th birthday boy?'
"Besides go to Matt's?"
-'Yeah,'

I glanced to the side almost thinking about it before looking towards my phone already done with this conversation.

"Staying home, I would stay at Matt's this time but I'd rather be home. Why are you up this early? I thought you hated mornings?"
-'Ah alright. Well, can you meet up with me for lunch? At that cafe in front of the flower shop?'

'Did he not hear what I just said? Or did he just blatantly ignore me..?' "Second option," 

"Fine. Whatever,"
-'Great! I'll see ya later then huh?'
"Yea. Yea, bye,"
-'B-'

I quickly ended the call, before walking away from my phone in favor of heading straight for my bathroom 'So annoying...' I could hear my stupid wolf chuckling at my dismay as I growled annoyed "Well, that annoyance is your doctor," he stupidly commented.
'No one asked you...' "No one had to,"

I soon groaned and ruffled my hair while glancing at the mirror for a second while turning my attention towards my shower to prepare for the day.

After a while, I was now completely dressed and ready to go as I walked out of my room and headed towards my parent's room, it was still laced with their scent after all these years, as I placed my forehead against its cool oak wood.
"Today's my birthday...I wish you guys were here..." I mumbled to myself before pulling away and going downstairs, I adjusted the scarf around my neck and ran my fingers through my hair to lay my ears down to blend in better with society.

'So. What should I be expecting wolf?' I placed my beanie on my head as soon as I reached the front door "Rude... You should be expecting to see our cute little mate today,"
