Wolf's Kitten

Chapter 7

3 days had passed and they ended up sending Prize with Kevin pretty early, mainly due to the kitten growing a concerningly quick attachment to the alpha.

And would become restless whenever the redhead had to leave, he would either panic or cry or even both whenever Kevin didn't show up or just took too long to come back (it was Day 2 when the alpha got very busy). But no one knows why or how this development happened since it hadn't even been that long to form such a strong bond like that.

This led to the alpha now carrying Prize home with him while holding a few shopping bags in hand as he ignored the many curious glances around them.

The kitten didn't seem to mind as he nuzzled his face into the redhead scarf for extra warmth as the winter wind kissed the side of his face that wasn't shielded from the harsh winds that were trying to blow them away.

"Cold..." the brunette soon mumbled while clinging onto the redhead tightly "We'll be home soon," Kevin answered while adjusting the kitten in his arms.

The two soon made it to the alpha's house, as Kevin made quick due to get them both inside and out of the cold, as he sighed in relief.

He soon removed his shoes with ease, as he walked further into the house and went upstairs "Would you like your own room?" the alpha questioned only to receive a shake of the head from Prize.
The kitten then pressed his face more into the alpha's scarf as Kevin sighed before nodding his head and making his way to his bedroom instead of where he was originally planning on having the brunette sleep.

As he soon sat Prize on his bed, the alpha then placed all the bags of clothes onto the floor before removing his scarf and jacket and placing them on his desk chair.

While the alpha was distracted Prize had let go of the fluffy fleece blanket, allowing it to drop around him revealing the hospital outfit he was still in, as they had planned on getting him dressed at home as it was more convenient that way.
Plus the kitten was in need of a nice warm bath to help raise his temperature a bit more due to the journey here.

So when the alpha then walked over to the neko, he removed the beanie from Prize's head when the kitten raised his arms to allow Kevin to undress him, and at first.
Kevin was pretty against it, but seeing as the brunette remained with his arms up waiting for the alpha to take it off of him, the alpha at some point had no choice but to do so, as he gave in and undressed the neko.

"Couldn't you have done this?" Kevin then questioned only to receive a shake of the head from Prize "N-not a-llowed," the brunette mumbled earning a sigh from the alpha.

"Didn't he- I say you were free?" the redhead then questioned, instantly correcting himself as he didn't want to confuse the young male while placing the hospital clothes to the side, then picked up the now naked brunette and carried him to the bathroom for a bath.

"I am?" Prize asked while clinging onto the alpha's shirt and resting his head on Kevin's shoulder.

"You are," Kevin replied causing the kitten's ears to perk up when a little smile made its way to the brunette's face "I-I'm f-ee," the kitten said feeling happy while the alpha nodded his head listening.
As he soon grabbed a towel and laid it on the counter for Prize to sit on so he wouldn't be on the cold counter while the alpha went to run a warm bath for the kitten. 

The two then fell into another comfortable silence, with the only sound being from the running water in the background until the kitten broke the silence "Fl-uffy," Prize said causing the alpha's ears to perk up when he looked over to the kitten who gave him shy smile, before looking down at his bare lap playing with his fingers.
