Wolf's Kitten

Chapter 8

Three days later. 

Prize was woken up by Kevin who was going threw his bag as the kitten soon rolled over onto his other side while sleepily looking over at the alpha who seemed to be searching for something, until the redhead's ear flicked.

"Did I wake you?" Kevin soon asked while glancing over his shoulder earning the kitten's attention when Prize shook his head slightly then snuggled into the blankets.

"You're lying," the alpha said while watching the kitten yawn slightly before slowly pushing himself to sit up, but he then proceeded to wrap himself in the covers to stay warm as he wasn't ready to get out of bed just yet.
"I so-sorry," Prize mumbled still trying to wake up before snuggling more into the blankets.

"Don't apologize," Kevin said as he turned his attention back to his bag where he finally found what he was looking for, which so happened to be a small box that was given to him by Jimmy.

The redhead soon sighed  once he found it as he got up from the floor "Wh-what is that?" Prize asked curiously "One of the gifts I forgot to open," Kevin answered while sitting down on his bed looking at the small box in his hands, as his wolf was becoming impatient with him.

When Prize moved closer to the alpha leaning into him as he was about to fall back asleep since it was much earlier than normal for him to be awake.

But at the same time, he wanted to know what the gift was. That the wolf wanted to open up so drastically that it seemed like it couldn't wait for later to show up any faster.

The alpha soon took a deep breath to calm his nerves, earning the kitten's attention as Prize glanced up at the redhead wondering what was going on before the wolf sighed through his nose and opened the small box.
Kit looked down to see what was in the box curiously while watching Kevin remove a small letter from the box along with a beautiful silver necklace.

To which the redhead placed the box to the side, before unfolding the note to read what was on it. As it must have been serious if Jimmy had warned him about where to read the letter but the second that thought crossed his mind, the redhead instantly knew why...

Taking a sharp breath, Kevin's eyes schemed across the paper earning the kitten's attention as Prize looked up at him once more confused.

"Fluffy?" Prize soon questioned now watching the alpha's expressions very closely as the wolf seemed almost in a trance as he subconsciously nibbled on his lip a bit until his eyes glanced at the necklace,  and then back at the note.
"Fluffy?" the kitten then questioned agian, trying to gain Kevin's attention now reaching out to touch the alpha's lap hoping that would work.

But it didn't as the alpha was still in a mindset of his own when his breathing slightly picked up instantly alarming the kitten who then got out of his blanket cocoon to try and further gain Kevin's attention, by crawling onto the alpha's lap forcing Kevin to move his arms out of the way so the brunette could hug him.
The kitten then nuzzled his head under Kevin's chin purring softly, when the alpha soon wrapped his arms around the neko's waist, then moved his head in favor of pressing his face into the kitten's shoulder while shaking violently.

Prize not understanding what was going on, had soon started nuzzling Kevin's hair while purring softly hoping it would help calm the alpha down.

The kitten was now somewhat underneath Kevin who had his head on the bruentte's chest, they were both lying down with the alpha fast asleep while listening to Prize's soft purrs as they had put the necklace back in the small box, so as not to loose it.

The brunette now lazily played with Kevin's hair and ears while slowly dozing off to sleep as well with his last thoughts being...

This position is really comfy...

Prize soon woke up hours later to the feeling of Kevin's body not being on him anymore as he whined softly, wanting the alpha to return to him for longer cuddles.

"Seem's like you've finally woken up," Prize soon heard Kevin say as he rolled onto his side sleepily "Come back..." the kitten mumbled while lazily reaching out for the alpha even though his eyes weren't opened all the way.

Kevin looked at the kitten slightly amused as a slight chuckle left his lips "You need to get up, so you can eat," the alpha said as he rolled his eyes.

"I'll just skip an-and have ddin-ner," Prize mumbled wanting to sleep more "No," Kevin replied sternly causing the brunette to whine as he was picked up out of bed "I've already stupidly allowed you to sleep through breakfast, you're not missing lunch," the redhead says while scolding the kitten a bit.

Prize clung onto Kevin when he felt something cold against his skin but he was too tired to process what the object was as instead the brunette pressed his face into the wolf's neck.

Kevin shook his head at the kitten's action but let it happen as he allowed the brunette to get some extra rest once he'd eaten and was fully dressed since Kevin needed to take Prize to the doctor for a check-up.
