Chapter 27

The next day, it was now the first day of school when Alex had woken up.

He snuggled closer to Kevin while purring, before reaching up to rub his eyes while yawing softly, when he felt the alpha move a bit, causing the brunette to also move, thinking the redhead was getting up.
So imagine his surprise when said wolf didn't get up and instead was only getting comfortable.

Giving Kit the perfect opportunity to look at the sleeping redhead who looked so... 

At peace...

The kitten soon reached over to place a hand on the alpha's cheek, but he remained asleep when a thought came to the brunette's mind.

Looking at the bandage that he had been changing for the redhead, Alex wondered if Kevin would be ok with him removing it now...
But the kitten also didn't want to end up waking the older male and he knew how sensitive the area was. Frowning at the memory of how Kevin reacted to them touching and replacing the bandage yesterday.

Alex didn't like hurting him...

Contemplating his next move, the kitten took a deep breath before moving closer to Kevin and then began messing with the end of the bandage being extremely cautious of the redhead's reaction, and not seeing any sighs of pain or retaliation.

The kitten began to feel more confident, as he continued to carefully remove the bandage, though around the actual scared area he took extra caution to relieve the cotton from the wound when he reached the end. 
Only for the alpha flinched pulling away from the kitten's touch startling Alex a bit at the sudden motion.

Pausing, the brunette looked at Kevin who seemed to have relaxed a bit as he took a breath but still, remained asleep which relieved Alex.

Glad to know he hadn't woken the alpha, so he sat up for a second to put the bloodied bandage on the side table before returning to Kevin's side and ran his finger's thought the alpha's hair to get a better view of the redhead's injury.

Revealing that it was beginning to heal pretty well so far, although it would leave an obvious scar there once the process was over...

Moving his hand from Kevin's hair to his cheek, the kitten then leaned down and ran his cat-like tongue against the healing area, cleansing it.

Until he felt a hand on top of his, starting the poor boy once more as he pulled away to see Kevin had woken up, and was looking up at him "G-good, mm-morning," the brunette stammered a bit embarrassed to have been caught.

Kevin hummed before closing his eye and leaned into the brunette's touch, allowing the kitten to continue what he was doing earlier, as Alex's face started heating up into a blooding mess.

He really thought he did a good job of not waking the alpha, but it looks like he failed miserably.

Kevin, Alex, and Matthew were all walking to school together, as the duo had run into the eagle earlier halfway to their destination. Or well, they met the eagle in front of the apartment complex they had exited from.

"Um, quick question amigo. Are you sure you should be walking around?" Matthew asked worried about the older male seeing Kevin's limp.

A few passersby were whispering, wondering about the redhead's noticeable limp, while some were glad that someone knocked the redhead down a few pegs.
Only for the confident ones to quickly move out of the way when they got to close to the trio when they received a soul leaving glare that made them rethink their choices about whoever caused the alpha's appearance and limp. It could have just been himself and not someone else...
