About 2 hours later... 

Kevin had woken up abruptly as he breathed heavily, which unfortunately woke up Alex and Matthew who were startled by the alpha's sudden gasp of air. 
But the eagle just laid his head back down, and muttered something under his breath, not completely processing anything as he slurred concerns for the kitten's well-being unaware of his brother's presence yet.

"Fluffy?" Alex questioned sleepily, as he rubbed his eyes, while Kevin sat up with a grunt and began taking deep breaths as if he was having trouble relaxing.
While hearing more of Matthew's slurred words as he tried and failed at comforting who he thought was distressed.

Until the alpha felt a small hand rub his back, Alex then leaned into him lightly pressing his cheek against Kevin's shoulder "Fluffy, are you ok?" the kitten whispered while the redhead was beginning to feel himself relax, and his breathing returned to normal.
He stared at the floor, needing a moment to gather himself only for his vision to be blocked by blue crystals that shimmered with worry.

Nearly putting the alpha into a trance until Alex placed a hand on the left side of Kevin's face causing the alpha to lean into his touch, when he snapped out of it, after receiving a poke on his nose earning a hum from the alpha.

But he didn't dare move away from Kit's touch "I asked if there was anything I could do to help ease your pain," Alex says as he tilts his head when the redhead sighed through his nose as he closed his eyes with a single thought running through his mind...

Everything...

Instead, he opened his eyes before pointing towards the large bandage on the right side of his face, when he heard Alex's breath hitch.

He might have still been affected by the sight he saw earlier...

Kevin could understand there was a lot of blood... And... Alex was shaking so much...

The alpha slightly clenched his fists while restraining himself from showing any sign of anger and startling the poor kitten. He was used to seeing it, but he wasn't sure if Alex was...

The kitten then, let out a shaky breath, gaining the redhead's attention "Ok, try to hold still please," the brunette whispered when Kevin nodded before closing his eyes and taking another breath he reached out and wrapped his arms around the kitten's waist, slightly pulling him into a hug.
As Alex began purring, causing Kevin's body to relax heavily when he flinched slightly at the feeling of the short male, removing the bandage from his eyes.

"Sorry," the kitten whispered, but the alpha only hummed as he relaxed once more against Alex letting the brunette completely remove the bandage from his eye when he heard a small gasp from Alex.

Kevin hummed wondering what was wrong, but just as he was about to open his eyes, he felt something warm and soft at the same time, with a slightly rough texture to it rub against his wound, causing the alpha to wince as he went to pull away from the feeling only to feel Alex's hand hold the left side of his face once more to keep him close.

"Sorry..." the alpha muttered, as he took another breath before slightly tightening his hold on Alex, using the kitten as an anchor when the same sensation went back to his eyes while listening to the brunette's soft purrs, which he tried to focus on.
