Prize was now pressing his face into Kevin's chest while purring loudly after the alpha had finally renamed him making the kitten very happy.

As the redhead stared up at his roof, his eyes teary and his mind replaying over and over of what had happened earlier and how this all came into play, which led to the situation he was in now making it all his wolf's fault...

Kevin's POV

I could feel him staring at me waiting for my response, 'His eyes..."We should definitely call him Kitten," my wolf says destroying my train of thought.

'No, we're not naming him Kitten...'
"But you hate the name Prize and so do I, and he's really cute, like a kitten,"
'No.'

I sighed and tried to block out the annoyance out in favor of choosing a name for him 'Though I don't see the point in having to name him myself. He could just choose his own name until we figure out his legal one,'
"That's because our mate's a pet, Kevin. And since we've removed that collar off of him, that makes 'us' his new master. As distasteful as it sounds,"
'No. You, removed that collar, and since we're speaking of it how'd you even manage to take it off, to begin with?'
"Well-"

Our small conversation was cut short when Kitten poked my nose "Ha! You're using the name!"
'Shut up,'

"Fluffy?" Kitten said while looking up at me with curious eyes, as I wondered what they would look like with more life in them...
"Hm?" I hummed while giving him my attention "Are...A-are you having a h-hard time w-with my my nn-name?" he then asked when I reached up to pat his head "Yeah. I've never chosen anyone's name before," I answered to which he nodded understanding me.

"Ok," he replied while smiling, though I could tell, it wasn't real. "Well, pup, if you're wondering what his real smile looks like. There is only one option to help our little kitten out,"

'And that is?'
"By naming him. Once we claim him as ours he'll be free from his old master,"
'And you know this information because?'
"Just. Name our Kitten already and stop stalling!"

I grabbed at the necklace that was given to me for my birthday while looking at Kitten who was still waiting for my response patiently.

"Alright," I soon said as he leaned forward slightly, his eyes seemed to be getting impossibly bigger to the point that I almost saw a sparkle in his dull blue eyes as I sighed slightly "Kit-" I quickly cut myself off almost saying the name my wolf wanted as he looked at me smugly 'Oh, I'm going to kill you!'
"Sorry pup, it was bound to happen eventually, and you can't change it either,"

'Crap! You-'

My mind then went blank when I saw pools of crystal blues, that instantly took my breath away. 'Crystal...'

My eyes widened when Kitten pressed his face into my chest purring when a flood of memories came at me all at once...It was...

Third Person POV

The two lay together for a while, as nighttime soon came around when Kevin decided it was time to get up as he lightly patted Kit's back waking the brunette up "Mmm..." the neko hummed "I need to make dinner," the alpha says in which, the kitten carefully got off of him while rubbing his eyes.

As Kevin sat up and ran his fingers through his hair "Would you like to try something new to eat?" the alpha then asked earning Kit's attention.

"I do," the brunette says as his tail flicked around with curiosity before the alpha got out of bed and then held his hand out for the brunette to take so they could go to the kitchen together, as the two now held hands and left the room.

"Wh-what are you going to m-make Fluffy?" Kit asked curiously with a tilt of his head "Fish sticks," Kevin answered while walking down the stairs as he made sure he was in front of Kit just in case the kitten fell.

"Fish sticks?" the brunette asked curiously as Kevin nodded his head before he finally let go of Kit's hand as soon as they got to the bottom floor "How many would you like to try, 3 or 4?" the alpha then asked.

"3," Kit answered while looking up at Kevin who nodded once more and turned on the kitchen light so he could get dinner started "And tomorrow, we need to wake up early as we're going to a friend of mine's house," the alpha then said.
"Ok," Kit replied before taking a seat at the table and softly kicked his feet as he watched the alpha get Dinner prepared for the both of them.

Kit was now humming with joy as he squeezed his face while squealing softly after trying one of the fish sticks that was given to him "I'm guessing you like it?" Kevin asked as Kit nodded his head excitedly.

"It's yummy," Kit said with joy as his voice raised slightly before he took another bite of his fish sticks and purred happily.

When more was placed on his plate making the Kitten happy while Kevin just ate two since he wasn't feeling that hungry to begin with.

Knowing he'd need his appetite if he was going to Matthew's house tomorrow, though he did wonder if he should warn Kit about this as well when he turned his attention back to the brunette who was happily eating his fish sticks.
