Wolf's Kitten

Chapter 11

"So. You've renamed him Kit?" a teen male said, with slightly tan skin, his brown eyes looked between the two as Kevin nodded his head softly while Kit was sitting in his lap purring.

The two had arrived at the alpha's friend's home not too long ago and even did a small introduction though it looks like Kit and said other male seemed to have started to bond pretty well with one another, which helped the alpha relax to know this.

"Alright, I can deal with that. Have you told Jimmy?" he asked "Yeah, I texted him this morning," Kevin answered as he lightly patted Kit's head "Though," the alpha started off earning both of their attention when they both looked at him.
"Never mind," the redhead said as he shook his head "You sure amigo?" the Hispanic questioned as he frowned a bit.

"Yea, yea," the alpha replied when Kit adjusted the way he was sitting on Kevin's lap to face the other who had his large dark brown eagle wings lying around him like a blanket which looked pretty comfortable.

"Ok, well then. New question. Kit are you excited for you're first Christmas with us?" the eagle asked while running his fingers through his brown and white hair to fix it up a bit when the neko nodded his head softly "I can't w-wait," the brunette said with joy as his cat-like ears wiggled.

"Now that's the spirit," the eagle said with joy earning a giggle from the kitten when Kevin gently hugged Kit closer to him, causing the brunette to purr happily.

When a knock sounded at Matthew's room door earning the group's attention, only to reveal a woman with medium-length curly brown hair that reached her shoulders as she smiled at the group "Hola, I brought you all some snacks," she said as Kit smiled softly.

"Gracias Mama," the duel-haired male says while Kevin just gives a slight nod of his head  "Thank you," Kit says while holding onto the alpha's arm when the woman walks further into the room and she passes Kit a plate of muffins, which brought excitement to the Kitten since he wanted to try them while Kevin was given a cup of warm tea.
She then went over to her son and handed him a plate of milk and cookies "There you boys go," she said with joy before leaving the room to return to her husband's side when the duel-haired began talking once more.

As Kit joined in while Kevin just listened to the two talk only answering whenever he was included in the discussion they were having.

It was now around 1:15 am when the three were asleep in the eagle's large king-size bed with the duel-haired male was lying on his stomach with his head resting on his arms, with only one of his wings slightly spread out to be used as a blanket for Kevin and Kit, with the other being used to keep him warm as well.

Kit, soon snuggled closer to Kevin waking up, then pressed his face into the alpha's chest while his tail wrapped around one of the redhead's legs waking Kevin up from his slumber.

As the alpha's ear twitched slightly while listening to the harsh winter winds blowing outside, he glanced down at the Kitten before nuzzling his face into Kit's hair causing the neko to relax into him after a while.
When Kevin's honey-yellow eyes turned more sunny-yellow as his wolf had taken over with ease after he felt the redhead doze back off to sleep "Don't worry little mate. We'll make sure no one, harms you. Ever, agian," he mumbled softly, as his eyes glowed slightly.

Kevin's phone soon went off waking the three up, Kevin growled in annoyance as his friend groaned and moved to hide underneath his pillow to dampen the noise while Kit pressed his face more into the alpha's chest.

"Please shut it up..." the eagle's muffled voice sounded annoyed from the pillow over his head as Kevin lazily reached out to get his phone while mumbling to himself.

As his hand slid down Kit's back earned a small mew from the neko that caused the two to freeze for a second after hearing it with the only thing being heard was still Kevin's damn phone.

The alpha finally snatched it from the nightstand and answered it without looking at the ID, as he then moved his hand to cover Kit's ears.

"What," Kevin said annoyed as he growled into the phone causing the eagle to flinch at this while Kit whined softly, though he wasn't as scared as the duel-haired male beside them since that woke the eagle up fiercely.
-'Good morning Kev-Bear!~'

Kevin growled once more before he sighed heavily and carefully sat himself up as he moved Kit a little so, he wouldn't end up waking the Kitten up from his slumber while his best friend peeked from underneath his pillow, with a slight glare at whoever woke them up this early in the morning.

"Cut the crap, what do you want?" Kevin said annoyed as he once more covered Kit's ears while the eagle sighed heavily quickly catching on to who was calling Kevin.
-'Now, now that's no way to speak with you're mother young man~,'

"She's drunk..." both males said annoyed quickly registering her tone, before Kevin shook his head and sighed once more.

"You're not my f-king mother.  Now what do you want?"
-'What of course I'm you're mother. I ado-'

Kevin soon ended the call seeing as she didn't need anything when he groaned in annoyance until he heard movement as he glanced over to see the duel-haired male covering his head once more.

"It was her agian wasn't it?" the eagle's muffled question sounded as he tried to fall back asleep "Yeah..." the alpha answered annoyed when he ran his fingers through his hair, unable to get back to sleep.

"Such a pain," the eagle mumbled while holding the pillow onto his head wanting more sleep "You can say that agian Matt..." Kevin mumbled as he was now by himself to remain awake since he couldn't return to sleep like Matt could... Lucky bastard...

It was now around 9 am when Kit woke up surrounded by warmth as the Kitten then started to move around lazily "Fluffy?" the brunette mumbled sleepily.

He then rubbed his eyes then tried to get out of his warm blanket "Flu-fy," the neko said much louder this time his voice cracking, causing the person who was attached to said warm blanket to shuffle around with a slight groan, helping the brunette get free as it turned out to be the eagle's wing.

When the Kitten whimpered due to the brightness of the window that was helping some of the sunlight seep in.

But that was the least of his concerns at the moment since Kevin had yet to respond to him when Kit's ears lowered as he soon looked around the empty room when he sniffled "F-Flu-fy!" the neko then called out with a cry.
This woke up Matt, who sighed through his nose, as he removed his pillow and sat up with a grunt alerting the Kitten just as Kevin finally entered the room followed by Matt's mother as well.

Kevin had just finished drying his hair with a towel before resting it on his shoulders as he didn't even get a chance to put on a shirt when the Kitten reached out for him making grabby hands.

The alpha soon sighed as he went over to the brunette and picked him up when Kit instantly clung to him "Honestly, you weren't alone," Kevin mumbled while rubbing the young teen's back "Oh dear, are you ok sweetie?" Matt's mother asked worriedly.

When Kit looked up at the woman who was worried about him until he gave a small nod, before nuzzling his face into Kevin's neck.

"That's good, I was so worried," she said softly as she held her hands to her chest when Kevin readjusted the kitten in his arms, Matt soon flopped back down onto the bed, as he was now unable to go back to sleep due to Kit's outburst...
