Chapter 82: Too Much

Snape was good on his word. We did not practice on first years anymore. Instead, we practiced on me. It was almost Christmas time but you could not tell. There was no joy in the castle. The only bit of joy was when the food I aggarnged came. I spent most of my time in my room.

"Lily, someone is here to see you." Ginny said, helping me sit up.

"Coming." I said standing up.. I felt super weak and dizzy. Though the curses were not strong they still made me weak. I walked down the stairs to see Blaise and Pansy. "Blaise, Pansy, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Are you the one with the food?" Blasie asked.

"What?" I said.

"Are you the one sending the food?" Pansy asked.

"No, it's the house elves." I said, going to sit by the fire.

"Yes but have you told the house elves to do that?" Blaise asked.

"Why does it matter? Are the Slytherings getting food?" I asked.

"Yes but we just want to say thank you if it was you." Pansy said.

"How did you figure it out? It could have been anyone?" I said.

"You are the only one trying to protect everyone." Blaise shrugged.

"Yeah." I said putting my head in my hands trying to get rid of the headache I had.

"Are you all right?" Blaise asked.

"Yeah I am fine." I said standing, I got light headed and almost passed out. I grabbed onto the back of the chair.

"Lily?" Blaise asked standing beside me ready to catch me if I fell.

"I am fine. You guys should go." I said gripping the chair so hard my hands were turning white.

"Lily.." Pansy said.

"I am fine, go." I smiled.

"Ok." They said turning to leave.

"I will walk you out." I said letting go of the chair.

I took one step and felt my legs go weak. Blaise turned around in time to help catch me before I fell to the floor.

"Lily what's wrong?" Blaise asked.

"Pansy." I said turning to her.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Go to my dorm, look in my trunk and find the mirror. Touch it three times and tell Lupin what's happened and that I need help." I said she ran out of my line of sight. I tried to stay awake but passed out.

When I came too I was at what looked to be the Burrow. I sat up too fast and hit my head on the headboard.

"Ow." I said.

"Lily, you're awake!" Molly said.

"George! Remus! She is up." Molly called. George and Lupin came running in.

"Lily, you're ok." Lupin hugged me.

"Yeah I am ok. I think you can let go of me now." I laughed.

"Love." George said before falling to my side.

"Hi. this is great but how did I get here?" I asked.

"You passed out in the Gryffindor common room. Pansy told me what happened in the mirror. While she was doing that Blaise took you down to the medical wing. When I got there Pomfrey had said your body was very weak. You had taken so many curses. Want to tell me what that was about?" Lupin said. I nodded.

"Yes, Later I want to hear the rest of the story." I said.

"Yes she said she was surprised to see you were still alive. She told me it was best if I took you home. She said if you continued on your path there you would die. So I took you here." He said.

"No, I have to go back." I said. "I have to help the kids." I said.

"No you don't. Blaise and Pansy filled me in on what you had been doing. I asked them to continue doing it and they said yes. It will be fine. Lily, if you go back you will end up dying. So now tell me why were you taking curses?" He asked.

"I was taking them for the first years. It was either practice on them or me. So I chose me." I said.

"I get that but-" Lupin started but I cut him off.

"No. I would do it again if I had too. There is no way they can take it." I said standing. I got light headed again and stumbled back. George caught me.

"Shh it's ok." George said letting me back down.

"Get some rest. You still are not up to your full strength. Lily, you're not going back to Hogwarts. It's best for you." Lupin said leaving the room. Molly followed him.

"Scoot." George ordered. I scooted over and left enough space for him to get in. "I missed this." He said, wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Me too." I said.

"Marry-" he started but I stopped him.

"Don't ruin it." I said.

"Yeah ok." He said.
