Chapter 34: The Burrow

I was so relieved when I saw the towering house. I breathed a sigh of relief when I landed. I am so glad I found it. I had never been here before.

"Lily?" I heard a voice say and I saw Mrs.Weasley.

"Hi." I said on the verge of tears. " I am sorry I did not know where to go." I said crying.

"Oh, sweety!" She said running to hug me. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked.

"I-." I said sitting down at their table. With a wave of her wand there was tea and crumpets on the table.

"Eat." She smiled.

I took a bite of a jam filled crumpet.

"This is amazing." I said crying even harder.

"George told me today that he never gave you your christmas present that I made for you." She said getting up.

She came back with a brown package.

"Really?" I said taking it from her hands.

"Yes." She said sitting down with a smile on her face.

I unwrapped it. It was a light red knitted sweatshirt with a L in the middle.

"Really?" I said crying even more.

"Yes. It's high time you had one." She laughed giving me a hug.

"Thank you. It means so much to me." I said slipping it over my red shirt I had on.

"Now want to tell me what happened?" She asked.

"I got home. Remus and Siruis told me about my mother" I said.

"The muggle?" She asked.

"She was not a muggle." I said.

"What?" She said shocked.

"Her name was Marlene McKinnon. She was pregnant with me in this photo." I said pulling out the photo. Mrs. Weasley took the photo and looked at it.

"Yes I remember her. She went to school with us." She said,

"Really? Can you tell me about her?" I asked.

"Well I really don't know much but she was beautiful. She was on the quidditch team. She was a great fighter in the order of the phoenix." She said but stopped. She looked out the window and I saw it too.

"Lily!?" I heard a voice call. George was running with his brothers behind him.

"George!" I said running out of the house and into his arms.

"Ugh I missed you!" He said as I wrapped my legs around him as he spun me. He kissed my head.

"I missed you too." I said holding on even tighter.

"Why are you here?" He asked.

"Escaping my dad and Lupin." I said. He could tell by my face that I did not want to talk about it.

"Can a twin brother get a hug?" I heard a voice say. I turned to Fred standing there crossing his arms.

"Hi Fred." I said going up to Fred and giving him a hug.

"Give me back my girlfriend!" George said. He let me go and Geroge grabbed me right back.

"Hi Ron." I said as Geroge wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Boys let the poor girl go." Mrs. Weasley said from the doorway. George did not let me go. He picked me up and put me on his back.

"Right then." He said caring me inside.

"Geroge put her down." Mrs. Weasley said.

Before we got inside the door he put me down. He did however take my hand.
