The next few weeks were not that interesting. There were quidditch games, classes. Snape as a DADA teacher was interesting.

We all sat in the common room talking.

"I have to admit, I thought I was gonna miss that last one." Ron said, talking about a quidditch game. "I wonder if Cormac was watching. He's got a bit of a thing for you, Hermoine." Ron said.

"He sure does." I laughed. Hermoine gave me a look.

"He's vile." Hermoine said.

"Have you ever heard of this spell? Sectumsempra?" Harry asked Hermoine.

"No, I haven't. And if you had a shred of self-respect you'd hand that book in." Hermoine said.

"Not bloody likely. He's top of the class. He's even better than you, Hermoine. Slughorn thinks he's a genius. What?" Ron said.

"I'd like to know whose book that was. Let's have a look." Hermoine said.

"No." Harry said.

"Why not?" Hermoine asked.

"The binding is fragile." He said.

"The binding is fragile?" Hermoine repeated.

"Yeah." He said.

Ginny grabbed the book when Harry was not looking.

"Who's the Half-Blood Prince?" Ginny said.

"Who?" Hermoine asked.

"That's what it says right here: "This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince" She said tossing the book back to Harry who walked off.

A few weeks later we were walking throw Hogsmeade

"For weeks you carry around this book, practically sleep with it, yet you have no desire to find out who he is?" Hermoine asked as we walked through Hogsmeade.

"I didn't say I wasn't curious-" He said but was cut off.

"Lily?" I heard a voice. I turned to see George standing a little ways back.

"George!" I said running to him as fast as I could in the snow. He ran towards me too. When I got to him he picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him.

"Ugh I missed you so much." I said kissing him.

"I missed you too." He said.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"We were looking to expand Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes but Hogsmeade is not as busy as it usually is. I guess people are just too afraid to come into town anymore." He said.

"Yeah with Voldemort on the rise again." I said. "Let's go get a butterbeer." I said. When we walked in we sat down in a corner. We sat down in a corner.

"Oh no." George said, looking over at Ginny and Dean kissing.

"It's ok." I said, turning his face back to me.

"No it's not! She is my sister." he said about to get up and go stop them.

"Hey, we do that too. No one stops us. That's like her third boyfriend this month. It's fine." I said, stopping him.

"Anything to drink?" Asked a waiter.

"Yes, two butterbeers please." I said with a smile. I looked up to see Draco going into a room upstairs.

I looked away when the server brought back two butterbeers. George quickly put 3 sickles on the table.

"I can pay you know." I laughed.

"I know but this is the first time we have been on a date in a very long time and besides the joke shop is bringing in a lot of money now." He said.

"I know, but I feel you forget that my dad left me his entire savings. Which collected even more while he was in Azkaban. No one can touch it but me." I smiled.

"And what about me?" He asked.

"One day." I said kissing him.

"You still wear your necklace I gave you." He said pointing to my necklace he gave me last christmas.

"Yes I do. It reminds me of you. I still wear the bracelet my dad and Lupin gave me." I said looking at it.

"Oh! Right I have been meaning to give you this." He said, pulling out a picture.

"What is this?" I asked.

"I took it last christmas. I have just forgotten to give it to you." He smiled.

I looked at the picture. It was my dad, Lupin, and me laughing. I watched it on repeat.

"Thank you. This means so much." I said kissing him.

"I thought it might." He smiled. "Want to go shopping?" He smiled.

"You know me so well." I said getting up.

By the time we were done I had shopping bags from Galdrags Wizardwear, Honeydukes, Scrivenshaft's quill shop and more.
