When I walked into the Gryffindor common room I saw Geroge sitting there. He was the only one there.
"They killed him." I said walking over and sitting beside him.
"Who?" George asked, pulling my head onto his lap.
"Buckbeak. Hagrid's hippogriff. Draco said he hurt him, but Draco started it." I said laying my head in his lap.
"I am so sorry." He said pulling me close.
"Can I stay here? Just for a little bit?" I asked.
"Of course you can." George said, rubbing my head.
I sat there with my head in his lap for what felt like forever. Suddenly the fat lady opened up. Lupin walked in.
"Lily, come with me now!" He yelled.
"Lupin, why?" I asked sitting up.
"Lily just come with me NOW!" He yelled starting to run. I looked at George."Go!" He said. I said running after Lupin.
"Dad! Where are we going!" I asked following him.
"Just follow me." He said. We ran out of the castle and to the whomping willow.
"Lupin, what are we doing here?" I asked.
"Lily, throw this rock at the not in the tree right there." He pointed and handed me a rock.
"Ok." I said throwing the rock. It hit it straight on. The Whomping Willow stopped.
"Come on." Lupin said, grabbing my hand and pulling me into an opening below the tree.
"Lupin, this goes to the shrieking shack. Why are we going there?" I asked.
"Lily please stop talking and follow." He said. After a short walk we found ourselves in the shrieking shack. We heard a laugh from upstairs. Lupin started running up the stairs.
"Expelliarmus!" I heard Lupin yelled as he got upstairs before me. When I got up there I saw Lupin and Sirius hugging.
"Dad?!" I yelled.
"Dad?" Ron said.
The hug broke apart. "Lily." He said walking over to me. "My dear you have grown." He said putting his hand to my face.
"I missed you dad." I said, giving him a hug."I missed you too Lily." He said, hugging back. We both walked over to Lupin.
"I found him." Sirius said.
"I know." Lupin said.
"It's him!" Sirius said."I understand." Lupin said.
"Let's kill him!" Siruis said.
"No!" Hermoine yelled.
"No! I trusted you! I trusted both of you!" Hermoine said.
"Hermoine." I said walking close to her.
"Stay away! You're just as bad as them!" Hermoine yelled at me. Her words hit me like a brick.
"George is in love with you! And you're the daughter of a killer!" Ron yelled at me. This hit me harder. Was George really in love with me? I mean George knew the truth and he still liked me.
"Do not speak to my daughter that way!" Sirius yelled at them.
"Dad." I said putting my hand on his shoulder.
"We trusted both of you and all this time, you've been his friend and his daughter!" Hermoine spat.
"He's a werewolf! That's why he's been missing classes!" Hermoine yelled at Ron and Harry.
"Hermoine!" I yelled at her.
"Lily, stop." Lupin commanded. "How long have you known?" Lupin asked.
"Since Professor Snape said about the essay." Hermoine said.
"Well, Hermoine you really are the brightest witch of your age I've ever met." Lupin said.
"Hey!" I yelled.
"Sorry Lily." Lupin said.
"Enough talk, Remus! Come on, let's kill him!" Sirius yelled.
"Wait!" Lupin said.
"I did my waiting! 12 years of it in Azkaban!" Sirius yelled.
"Dad, are you really going to kill Harry?" I asked.
He ignored me.
"Very well. Kill him." Lupin said, handing him his wand.
"But wait one more minute. Harry has the right to know why." Lupin said.
"I know why." Harry said.
"You betrayed my parents. You're the reason they're dead!" Harry said.
"No, it wasn't him." Lupin said. "Somebody did betray your parents but it was somebody who, until quite recently I believed to be dead!" Lupin said.
"Who was it then?" Harry asked.
"Peter Pettigrew." Sirius said.
