Bill and Fleur's wedding was beautiful. Flures' dress was so beautiful. I had never seen Bill as happy as he was when he saw Fleur walk down the aisle. The reception was amazing as well. I stood beside George and clapped as Bill and Fleur danced in the middle.

"That could be us one day." George whispered.

"Could be?" I asked.

"Yes. If you would ever say yes." He grumbled.

"Will be. One day." I smiled at him.

After their dance ended, George pulled me onto the dance floor.

"I can't dance." I said.

"Yes you can." George said, spinning me around. We danced for a little bit until Lupin came up.

"Can I dance with her?" He asked.

"Of course!" George said leaving me on the dance floor with Lupin.

"You look very pretty." He said dancing with me.

"Thank you." I said.

"Your dad would have loved to see you like this. You look so happy with George." He said. We both laughed. "Something is wrong." He said and stopped dancing and laughing. He looked around suddenly on high alert.

"Lupin? What is it?" I asked. I was suddenly very aware.

A blue light burst into the tent.

"The Ministry has fallen. The Minister of Magic is dead. They are coming. They are coming." Said Kingseley through his patriotic message.

"They?" I asked.

"Death eaters." Lupin whispered. Everyone started to apperated out and leave.

A black smoke came through the tent setting a fire.

"George!" I called in the caos.

"Lily!" I heard somewhere distant. I turned to see that Lupin was gone.

I pushed through the crowd. I saw George across the floor.

"George!" I called. I ran over to him and he pulled me behind his back defensively before I could even think about it.

"Get her out of here!" Lupin called.

"Lily lets go." George said, pulling me.

"No!" I called pulling out my wand. I fired a spell at a death eater.

"Are you sure?" George asked. I nodded. "Stay close." he said, pulling out his wand. Before I knew it we were fighting back to back fire spells at death eaters. A death eater was fighting Lupin and it looked like Lupin was losing.

"Stupefy!" I called. It hit the death eater but did nothing."Avada kedavra" I called and the death eater fell to the floor. Lupin looked over at me.

"Lily did you just-" George started but I stopped him.

"I had no choice. He was going to kill Lupin." I said. Geroge nodded.

After a few minutes of fighting all the death eaters were gone or...dead. Geroge pulled me in for a hug.

"Lily-" Lupin said, clearly coming to talk to me about the death eater I killed. I felt my hand shaking.

"Please don't." I said breaking away from George and walking out of the tent. I walked into the field surrounding the tent and the house.

I walked for a minute then I finally stopped and fell to the ground crying. I cried for what felt like hours before I felt something sit down beside me. I turned to see Lupin.

"You had no choice Lily. You were protecting me." He reasoned.

"I- I killed him." I cried.

"I know. You did it to save me." Lupin said, pulling me in for a hug.

"I-" I started but stopped.

"It was what you had to do. It does nothing to dwell on it." He said.

"I know." I said.

"Come on." He said picking me up the same way Geroge did earlier but for some reason it felt...I don't know it was not the same. One was playful and romantic while the other was sad and pitiful.

He walked into the burrow and laid me down on the couch Geroge was laying on yesterday after we got Harry back. Harry! How could I be so stupid.

"Harry?" I said.

"He, Hermoine and Ron got away. They're ok. They're safe. I think." He said.

"Lily!" George said running to me.

"No." I said rolling over to where I was facing the back of the couch.

"Let her be." Lupin said but I felt George sit down beside me on the ground. I felt a blanket fall over me. I cried silently into the couch.
