Chapter 85: Malfoy Manor

"For Lily's help. Which she gave me. So now I can go home." He said standing but almost fell

back down.

"Not yet." Molly said. "You still have poison in your system from the dagger you used." She said.

"If I get caught here, I will be in big trouble with the dark lord." Draco said.

"Then why come?" Fred asked.

"I needed help. My father would not help me, my mother might but I would not want to put that on her." He said. "Lily was my only option. Now I have been all fixed up so I can go home." He said.

"Draco, you need to rest. I can take you home tomorrow." I said.

"Wha-" He said but passed out.

"What do you mean "I can take you home tomorrow"? He can take his own self home." Lupin said.

"No he can't, he can't stay here more than one night and he can't get home by himself. In his condition there is no way he can apperate safely again. He needs help. I can take him to Malfoy Manor, say the order kidnap him and tortured him trying to get information. We say it did not work so we are taking him back because we got nothing from him. Everyone ends up ok." I said.

"Except if you get kidnapped again! That would not work." Lupin said.

"I will go with her." George said.

"So would I." Fred said.

"See? I would have Fred and George. They can be my bodyguards." I laughed slightly.

"This is is stupid plan." Tonks said.

"Tonks, how can you say that? He is your cousin too. You're closer related to him than I am. It is the only way everyone will end up ok." I said. Tonks looked saddened.

"She is right." Geroge said.

"Ok we leave at dawn." I said walking towards the stairs. Lupin grabbed my arm.

"Are you sure about this?" He asked.

I gave a sharp nod. I could barely sleep that night. I was worried of course but I had no choice. If Draco went back how he is right now it would not end well. When I woke up I went downstairs to find Draco sitting up at the table eating waffles and eggs. He looked up and smiled.

"She makes good food." He said, shoving more food into his mouth.

"What would your parents say if they saw you like this?" I laughed. He shrugged and put some eggs on a fork for me. I walked over and took a bite. "She does make good food though." I laughed.

"Are you ready to go?" George asked me slipping an arm around my waist.

"Yep." I said, slipping my wand into its holder on my thigh.

"So what is the plan?" Draco asked, eating more food.

"We take you to Malfoy Manor, say we kidnapped you, tortured you which would explain your wrapped up arm, we got nothing so we brought you back." I said. He nodded. "Please play along. And stop eating, we can't have you going back full. We have a reputation to keep up." I said with a wink. He looked at me and took one last bite of food before dropping his fork.

"I will." He said putting his arms behind his back as Lupin put handcuffs on him.

"Here is the key." Lupin said, dropping it into my hands. I stuck it in my pocket. "Come right back." He said. "If you're not back in 2 hours we are coming for you."

"Ok." I said.

I grabbed Draco's arm lightly and led him outside. George flanked my right side and Fred flanked my left.

"What are their roles?" Draco asked, motioning to the twins behind me.

"Extra safety, bodyguards. You don't think they would let me go back to the place I got kidnapped by myself now did you?" I said.

We apperated away and landed outside the gates of Malfoy Manor.

"What now?" I whispered to Draco.

"The gates should open." He said and they opened. "Now walk to the door." He whispered.

When we got to the door I gave a sharp knock and it opened.

"Oh Draco!" Narcissa said, opening her arms. Draco tried to go to her but I held him back.

"Why are you here?" Lucius asked.

"The order found him and decided to kidnap him. We tortured him but got nothing so he is no use to us." I said simply.

"Can you let me go, we made it here safe?" Draco asked. I reached into the pocket and unlocked the cuffs.

"Oh Draco!" Narcissa said, pulling him in for a hug.

"What do you want in return?" Lucius asked.

"Nothing." I said turning to leave.

"You look like him." Narcissa said. I turned back around.

"I know it's the jacket right? I think the thigh wand holder helps." I said.

"You act like him too. Except for the fact he would have wanted something in return for my son's safety." Lucius said.

"Thank you." Narcissa said, hugging me. I was caught off guard but gave her a small hug back.

"Lily we should be going." George said. I nodded.

"Oh I found this photo." I said, pulling out the photo of the young Blacks posing together.

"Wow, we were so young." She said, looking at the photo.

"Lily." George said again.

"Right, go thank you." Narcissa said, handing me back the photo. I

"Keep it." I smiled.

"You have changed Lily." Lucius said.

"Pardon?" I asked.

"You're more confident, which I did not think was possible. You seem stronger." Lucius said. "What happened to you?" He asked.

"I grew up." I said taking George's hand and walking out of the manor. The door closed behind us. We apparated back to the burrow where we were met with hugs.

"You did it." Lupin said.

"I did, try to look a little less surprised. I can make good plans." I smiled.

"Yes you can." He laughed.
