Chapter 15: Full Moon

As we walked down the stairs of the shrieking shack I walked beside Sirius helping carry Ron.

"Sorry About that bite. I reckon it twinges a bit." Sirius said.

"A bit? A bit?" Ron asked. "You almost tore off my leg!"

"I was going for the rat. Normally, I have a very sweet disposition as a dog. In fact more than once. James suggested that I make the changes permanent. The tail I could live with. But the fleas, they're murder." Siruis said.

"Lils you have grown up so much. I am so proud of what you have become. You are a very gifted witch." Sirius said as we excited the tunnel

"Thank you dad, I missed you. I missed you alot." I said hugging him.

"Harry, Lily come here." Sirius said.

"Its beautiful, isn't it?" Sirius asked looking at the castle

"I'll never forget the first time I walked through those doors. It'll be nice to do it again as a free man. That was a noble thing you did back there. He doesn't deserve it." Sirius said.

"I just didn't think my dad would want his best friends to have to become killers. Besides, dead, the truth dies with him. Alive you're free." Harry said.

"I don't know if you know Harry but when you were born, James and Lily made me your godfather." Sirius said.

"I know." Harry said.

"I can understand if you want to stay with your aunt and uncle, and Lily if you want to stay with Remus, but if you guys ever wanted a different home." Sirius said.

"What? Us come and live with you?" Harry asked.

"Well I just thought, I can understand if you both don't want to." Siruis said.

"I would love to dad." I said, giving him a one armed hug.

"Harry!" Hermoine called pointing to the moon.

"Lupin, it's a full moon!" I yelled.

"Remus, my old friend, Have you taken your potion tonight?" Siruis asked to support him. Lupin started screaming. I had only seen him become a werewolf once and it was horrible.

"You know the man you truly are, Remus! This heart is where you truly live. Here!" Sirius yelled.

"Lupin, you're fine! You're ok, the moon does not control you!" I yelled walking towards him.

"The flesh is only flesh!" Siruis said.

"Lupin stay!" I said.

"Lily get back!" Sirius yelled. I listened to him and walked backwards.

Lupin dropped his wand a Pettigew went to grab it

"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled and the wand flew out of his hand.

He waved goodbye as he became a rat. Harry started to run after him but Hermoine grabbed him.

"Remus! Remus!" Siruis said.

"Run! Run!" Sirius yelled as Lupin transformed more.

He finally became a werewolf and he tossed Sirius off of him.

"Dad!" I yelled as he fell down the hill.

"Come on." Ron said.

"Wait, wait." Hermoine said walking close to Lupin I followed her.

"Hermoine! Lily! That's a bad idea." Ron said.

"Professor?" Hermoine asked. "Professor Lupin?" Hermoine asked.

"Lupin come back. Please." I pleaded. Lupin let out a howl. We back up towards Ron and Harry.

"Nice doggy. Nice doggy!" Ron said. As Lupin got closer Snape came out and stepped in front of us.

Lupin raised his paws and brought them down. We all fell to the ground.

All of the sudden a black dog came and tackled him.

"Dad!" I yelled trying to walk towards them but Snape held me back.

Lupin and Sirius started fighting. Sirius ran off and Lupin followed him.

"Sirius!" Harry yelled running after them

"Dad! I yelled following Harry.

"Come back here Potter and Lupin!" Snape said.

As we got there I saw Lupin hold Sirius up and throw him against the wall.

Harry picked up a rock and threw it at Lupin. Lupin looked to where the rock came from

"Really Harry?" I yelled.

As he got closer a howl came. Lupin stopped and ran to the howl.

"Dad!" I yelled running to him as he limped away. Harry followed him down to a pond.

When we got there Sirius was laying there.

"Sirius!" Harry said, rolling him over. His arm had been bitten.

"Dad no!" I said.

I looked over at the water and saw it begging to freeze.

"Harry." I said pointing to the freezing water. We looked up to see thousands of dementors coming towards us.

"Expecto Patronum!" I yelled as one started to come to Sirius.

Harry followed and did the same thing. Together it made one big wall of light fighting off the dementors.

"Harry you can't stop thinking of the happy memory of it will go away!" I said. Harry gave out and fell to the floor. Two dementors swooped down and started draining them. "You can do this Lily!" I said to myself. But in truth I knew I was not strong enough to protect all 3 of us and fight off the dementors. I held it for a few more seconds before collapsing beside Harry and Sirius.
