Chapter 68: Spy

The train ride home for Christmas was boring. When I got to the platform Lupin was there to pick me up.

"We are going to the Weasleys for Christmas later." He said.

"Ok." I said taking his arm as he apperated.

When I opened my eyes we were at Grimmauld place.

"Why are we here?" I asked.

"We are still using it as headquarters. Only if that's ok with you?" He said.

"Yes, my father wanted it to be headquarters and so it shall be still." I said. When we walked in I saw everybody important in the order. Kingsley, Moody, Mr.Weasley,

"Hello." I said.

"Lily, we have a mission for you." Mr. Weasley said.

"No Hello? How are you? May we use your house for our secret meetings?" I said. I got no response but Lupin smiled a little. "Fine, what is it."

"Serverus told us you have been getting close to some Slytherins. You are hanging out with them more." Moody said.

"Yes? Did he also tell you he pinned me against the wall and threatened to kill me if I knew something about Draco?" I said.

"He did that?" Lipin growled.

"Yes, I am fine now. So what if I have been getting closer to them? Are you going to tell me that I can't hang out with them? Believe me I have already heard it all from Harry, how my dad would be so disappointed in me, how rude I am for hanging out with. If you are going to tell me that I am going to leave." I said.

"No nothing like that. We want you to use them." Moody said.

"Use them?" I said.

"Yes, Some of the Slytherins you have been getting close to have very powerful families who work with you-know-who. If you could get some information from them for us that would be amazing. It would help the cause so much." Kingsley said.

"Use them?" I said again and Moody nodded. "N-no." I said.

"No?" Mr.Weasley said.

"I said no. I won't use my friendship with them for your gain. I have their trust and I won't betray them. Besides they know nothing. Their parents would not tell them. The parents would be stupid to tell them anything." I said.

"Lily I know it is hard but we need this." Mr.Weasley said.

"No. I am sorry. Find your information some other way." I said.

"Fine, just tell us about one person, you said Snape asked about Draco? What about him?" Moody said. I said nothing. "Anything really. Anything that could help us." He said.

"No. I will definitely not betray the confidence he has in me. He is my family! He is my blood. I won't betray that. I won't be a spy." I said walking out. I could not believe they wanted me to be a spy.
