When we apperated we landed carefully on the doorstep. I opened the door and a ghost appeared. It looked like Dumbledore.

"It is not I that killed you." I said and it disappeared.

"How did you know?" George asked. I shrugged.

"Lily?" I heard a voice call. Hermoine came out.

"Hermoine!" I said running to her, dropping all the dishes that landed with a thud.

"So this is where you guys came." I said.

"Yes, it was the only place safe we could think of." She said, "I mean we can leave it yo-'' She started but I stopped her.

"Nonsense. You can stay here as long as you need. Does that mean that Harry is here?" I asked and Harry came out.

"Harry!" I said.

"Oh Lily, I was so worried about you." He said, hugging me. "Why are you guys here?" He asked.

"Oh-" I turned to see that Geroge had picked up the dishes I dropped. "We went to Diagon Alley and found Mundungus Fletcher. Selling my family heirlooms. We were simply returning them. I said pointing to Geroge.

"Yes, well lovely to see you. We actually have something we could use your help with." Harry said. I nodded. He led me into the kitchen where I saw Lupin sitting in a chair.

"Lupin?" I asked surprised.

"He apperated her a few minutes before you. He says he wanted to help us on our hunt for horcruxes." Ron said.

"I do, you need someone of my skill and knowledge." Lupin said.

"Lupin you can't. What about Tonks? And your baby?" I asked.

'"That's just it. I can't be a father." He said.

"Can we have the room?" I asked. They all left but Lupin.

"What is this about? It surely can't be about being a father." I said.

"It is Lily." He said.

"Why? You raised me. You did great. I think so at least." I said.

"But you were never mine. You were always Sirius' daughter. I was like a...fake parent. Never anyone of conscience so-" He said but I stopped him.

"Don't say that. You are just as much my parent as Sirius was. If not more. You raised me. You loved me. You raised me into the woman I am today, the woman that is not afraid." I said. "Don't degrade yourself by saying you're not my parent. You are. You always will be. You're like my adoptive dad." I miled.

"But Lily-" He said but I held up a hand.

"I am not done. Sirius trusted you would raise me well. That is why he left me with you. He knew you would be a great parent." I said.

"He had no choice, Lily and James were as good as dead and we had not heard from Peter in months. Turns out he was selling my best friends to Voldemort." He snarled.

"No, he had choices. He could have left me with the Weasleys, They would have been more than happy to take me in. Sirius chose you. His best friend because he knew you would be a great parent. That you were what I needed. So why don't you believe it?" I asked.

"It's not that simple Lily." He said.

"But it is!" I said.

"No it's not. What if the baby turns out to be a werewolf like me? What if he is fine and I mess him up? What if-'' He said but stopped.

"You can't base your life on what ifs. You will get nowhere if you do that. I could do that. What if Sirius never went to Azkaban? What if he had stated the Potter's secret keeper? What if what if. You can;t live like that and you can't leave Tonks. She needs you. She loves you and I can see you love her too. So stop being stupid and go home to your wife and baby!" I said. I heard laughing outside the door.

"I guess you're right." He said.

"I am." I said confidently. 'Go home Remus." I said. He was surprised by my use of his first name. "Go home." I said again. He nodded and apperated away.

I walked out to find everyone scattering as if they had not been listening to the whole conversation.

"It's done, he is gone." I said.

"You really went off on him." Ron laughed.

"It was the only way he would leave. Now I say we do the same George. Let these three carry on the way." I said.

"Yes Lily one more thing before you go. Does this not mean anything to you?" Harry asked, handing me a note.
