Chapter 44

Miss Katey and the rest of After Euphoria's staff were surprised to see me on the plane to Singapore with them. Mukhang wala silang kaalam alam at hula ko'y magtatanong agad si Miss Katey ng tungkol sa amin ni Eros. That's part of her job. She needs to know about the guys' activities and relationships so when the higher ups ask, may maisasagot siya.

But the manager couldn't seem to get a word out of Eros Morgan Oriordan. We've just landed at Singapore Changi Airport when she started fishing out for information. Kausap ko si Justin habang nakalayo si Miss Katey at Eros. They were having a calm conversation until I saw Eros shrugging before walking to where I am.

Inakbayan niya ako at nakita ko na lang si Miss Katey na naniningkit ang mata.

Hmm.

"Hihiwalay ako papunta sa hotel," I informed him. Nakakunot agad ang noo niya. Kabababa lang namin ng eroplano. Although I'm wearing a mask and a cap, I still don't want to be seen with him yet. Especially right now that he's here for a band activity. 

Sentido kumon. I was his ex and a former member of their band. Malaking balita kapag nakita akong kasama nila rito. Life is so good to me lately and I don't want it ruined by getting another threat from a person who remains unknown to me just yet.

"Are you suggesting you'll take a cab or somethin?" Eros asked.

Tumango ako.

"No," tanggi niya. "Sasabay ka sa 'min. Miss Katey said you have to blend in with the staff kung ayaw mong makita kasama ako." Dagdag niya.

I just stared at him. Of course I want to be seen with him again, pero huwag lang muna ngayon.

So, pumayag na lang akong sumama sa mga staff. May mga fans na nakaabang sa airport kaya medyo nagkagulo pa bago kami tuluyang nakaalis. Because of that, walang nakapansin sa 'kin dahil nasa banda ang atensyon ng lahat. It was a relief for me.

Siguro dahil hindi ko sila nasundan sa nakalipas na taon kaya nagulat na lang ako na ganito na kalayo ang narating nila. I didn't know they're famous overseas now. Ang alam ko lang, sobrang sikat sila sa Pilipinas because when I was still with them, we were just rising to fame. Now they conquered the Philippines and its neighboring countries. It's crazy because with just two albums, the guys have already achieved half of our goals then.

Hiwalay kami ng van na sinakyan kaya naman nang makarating sa hotel, naghahanap agad ang mata ko para kay Eros. When I found him, he was already looking at me. He tipped his head to the left as if telling me to come with him somewhere. Abala pa ang staff sa mga gamit kaya naman wala pang umaakyat sa mga kwarto. Valen chuckled behind me.

"That sneaky motherfucker. Nakakatuwa kayong panoorin," he whispered.

"Shut up," I said. Nag-iisip pa ako ng paraan para makasama kay Eros nang walang nakakapansin.

"Ate Lyka, can you show me my room? I'm tired." Sabi ni Valen sa kadaraang assistant.

"Sige. Saglit at magpapaalam lang ako kay Miss."

"Alright."

I looked at Valen. Prente itong nakapamulsa sa likod ko. Hindi niya man kita ay napangiti ako. Ugh, I really missed the guys who always have my back!

Kaya naman nang makabalik si Ate Lyka, sumunod na ako sa kanila ni Valen. Eros let out a bored sigh before pushing the button of the elevator just beside him. Pumasok siya at sumunod naman kaming tatlo.

"Just so you know, you both owe me and Ate Lyka lunch for this." Valen said right after the elevator closed. Mukhang nalito pa ang assistant ngunit nang makita akong hinahatak ni Eros sa isang tabi ay lumiwanag ang mukha nito.
