---leaning at a tree, eyes both closed. she felt a giggle ringing through the side of her ears, as if it's a hymn complementing a funeral's song.
she thought of it as more than an illusion, she clearly heard it. the giggle from a decade ago. "felt like the first time" a woman in her mid 40's giggled herself, bringing the image of sky back to her eyes.
---
"hey grandma," started a teen, looking at the tombstone in front of her. "you know, don't get mad" she then giggled.
"they couldn't visit you today because we're about to go somewhere and they're packing things so here i am. brought you flowers by the way" the girl stated, placing the flowers in basket at the side of her grandma's tombstone.
the sunlight isn't much a pain in the skin, but we can't deny it is still hot.
---
talking about how their family was, the girl told the dead she'll move away for a bit. "i'm burning" she said at last and looked for a place to rest.
as her eyes roamed around, she saw a tree in the middle of the cemetery, she saw a lady and hesitated if she'll go but at the end, she still chose to.
"good afternoon. can i take a seat?" she politely asked. the lady then nodded with a smile. "who was that? if i may ask" wonyoung, the nineteen year old got curious as she leaned at the tree,
"my wife" answered ryujin, the woman in her mid 40's, smiling at wonyoung. "i'd say" ryujin lightly laughed, pulling out wonyoung's laughter as well.
"she's your firsts?" asked the nineteen years old.
"very much of a yes. but i am not hers"
wonyoung's mouth then hanged open, not knowing how to react and how to feel. "it's alright, kid" ryujin assured, raising her eyebrows.
"do you want to share your past? cause i am all ears for a story" wonyoung shrugged, sitting up closed to the lady.
"take a look at her name first"
---
bringing back the time where it begun, the sky above those heads filled with grief made the clouds reflects their emotions.
"who was that again?" questioned ryujin, bumping a shoulder while everyone's head in the surface was down, even hers.
"i don't know" chaeryoung, not expecting someone to do that, just answered, head still pointed towards the ground.
by hearing the voice, ryujin realized she bumped the wrong shoulder. "o my God, i'm sorry, wrong person" she raised her head a bit and bowed. though the girl she bumped shows no interest at even looking at her.
"that's fine. do you know who died?" asked chaeryoung, nonchalantly‐ quietly and looked at ryujin who's now in complete shock because of the sudden eye contact.
"no" she shook her head and bowed again, pretending to pray for the soul of who just died, chaeryoung did aswell.
---
"22 words. in a funeral. while praying. that's how it started? wow" wonyoung moved forward, getting interested. "what's more cooler than that?" she smirked.
"to be found out later" ryujin slightly smiled.
---
ryujin, between the prayers managed to shut up for she really wanted to know the unexpected person more.
