then again, there's another annoying knock at sooyoung's door. she swore for the nth time as she heard those. windows locked. lights off. yet another knock came.
rolling her eyes, sooyoung get off the couch and opened the door, "trick o–"
"listen here you kids, i don't have any time for this stupid little game. i don't even like candies. now go find another house to bother" then shuts the door at those cute little children's faces.
before she could even walk back to where she is sitting, another loud knock made her grit her teeth out of frustration.
for fuck's sake that would be the one hundredth knock for the night. though she wants to ignore those, they won't just stop.
"you kids– WHAT THE!" boom. an egg cracked at her face from those kids she pushed away one minute ago.
karma really is a bitch.
the kids started laughing, seeing sooyoung's face getting red out of anger then stuck their tongue out before leaving happily.
she attempted to follow the kids but a boy throws another egg, perfectly landing at her.
"demons!" she shouted and just went back to her house before another egg could crack at her face. sooyoung locked the door, went to bathroom and washed her sticky face. "ugh, can't believe those kids have an egg but don't have a damn candy" she sighed.
coming back to the couch, she put on her earphone to prevent her ears from hearing the infinite knocks.
minutes after,

"LOVE4EVAAAAA! TURUNTURUN TUN TUN TUN TURUTUNTUN TUN! NA DARADARA DADA DARADARA DADA LOVE4EVAAAA!" she screamed on top of her lungs, not giving a shit whoever the fuck is knocking at her door.
on the outside... "the hell is she doing?" a penguin asked as she heard the screams inside and knocks louder.

until the girl inside explodes. "I DON'T HAVE ANY CANDIES! GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE! GET OOOOUT! I'M A MONSTER! GET OOOOOOOOOOUT!" the penguin just laugh it off and knocks even more louder. "HOW MANY TIMES–"
"love4eva!" jiwoo teasingly sung right after sooyoung showed up, still wearing her earphone, "trick-or-treat?"
"chuu! what the fuck?!" she removed the earphone and just threw it with the phone at the couch landing too close at the edge of it.
"why? something wrong?" jiwoo looked down to examine her own body, sooyoung did the same.
"what the hell are you wearing? really? penguin custome for halloween?" sooyoung sarcastically laughed.
"babe, i know i'm cute. and wearing this actually feels good" sooyoung cringed at the whole phrase. "so where's my candies?"
"gosh, please stop. why are you even doing this shit, you're not a kid"
"c'mon, any sweets you would give to me?" the penguin raised her eyebrows, waiting for anything despite hearing what the older screamed lately. "i'm not leaving until you give me something"
"then freeze to death"
"oh yeah sure" jiwoo shrugged, volunteered to close the door for sooyoung and leaned at it.
"jiwoo! if you're not leaving i'm gonna throw some eggs at your face!" sooyoung threatened from the inside, knowing the younger would commit herself to what she said.
"no! no! let me die here!" she yelled back, holding the knob as sooyoung starts twisting it.
"okay okay! i'll give you what you want!" jiwoo's face lit up, hearing what she said and finally let the grumpy girl do what she promised to do, it's not a promise but still.
"now the sweets!" there,
jiwoo had it, tasted it. the sweet. the sweetest candy only she could have.
sooyoung's lips.
"more than just a treat, chuu" sooyoung smirked. they're not girlfriends but they knew, they knew they like each other for so long. "never expected this to happen on halloween" she stole another kiss. chuu didn't even hesitated to kiss back.
"that's my favorite candy"
"of course"
both of them pulled each other into a hug– not expecting an egg to be thrown at the back of jiwoo's head.
"you two! how sweet!" the kids very very lately, came back with more eggs to throw at them. sooyoung gave them a deadly glare but it's already too late.
gladly, jiwoo had some at her pocket and throw an egg back, "happy trick-or-treat!" she greeted, giving sooyoung some eggs then both of them starts chasing the kids.
