Chapter Fifty-Two: Family

Shamie's POV
The dinner went smoothly. They rented the resto kasi madami din kami. We had a small party.
And now, I woke up early, Mars woke me up dahil rehearsal namin today.
Someone knocked on our door. Nandito ako sa living room, I'm waiting for Mars, naliligo pa kasi sya. Ako naman, nandito lang sa living room, naghihintay ng breakfast.
I opened the door, silently hoping that it's the room service, kasi nagugutom na talaga ako. But I got my hopes up. Si Harley yung dumating. It's not that I'm not happy to see him, okay? Gutom lang talaga ako at ang tagal ng room service.
"Good morning!" Masiglang bati nya at dire-diretsong pumasok at naupo sa sofa.
"Morning," I greeted back, and closed the door at sumunod ako sa kaniya.
"Sam-hyung canceled the room service that was about to go here. He asked me to pick you up and said to tell you that we have to eat together at the rooftop. Where's Mari?" Tuloy-tuloy na sabi nya and wandered his eyes around as if searching for something, for someone.
"Ah, she's taking a bath. She should be done by now," sagot ko naman sa kanya.
And then, all of a sudden, I suddenly want to pinch his cheeks because he's so, so, so, so cute!! So I did, kasi naman, ang cute eh, daig ko pa ang buntis na naglilihi.
"Aw! What was that for?!" Bakas ang inis sa mukha nya after I did that. Natawa nalang ako dahil hindi ko naman alam ang isasagot ko sa kanya. I don't know, I just want to pinch him all of a sudden.
"Nothing!" I answered and pinch him again.
"Aish!" Mukhang naiinis talaga sya kaya tumigil na ako sa pang-aasar ko. Eh ang cute naman kasing talaga eh! Sobra! Para syang hamster.
Fortunately, after that, Mars finally got out of our room. Medyo nagulat pa sya when she saw Harley pero agad din naman syang naka-recover.
Lumabas na kami from our room and headed to the elevator to go up to the rooftop. Dadaanan ko sana yung tatlong babae pero sabi ni Mars ay nasa concert ground daw sila dahil may inaayos. Si Mars ay hindi na daw sya pinasama para daw may bantay ako. Well, it's not like I'm a five year old kid that will be out of their sight at makikita nalang nila sa community hall.
While we're riding the elevator, ang tahimik. But the silence was not so comfortable. Yung feeling na gusto mong magsalita but at the same time don't want to kasi wala ka namang maisip na sabihin. 'Yon. 'Yan yung nararamdaman ko ngayon.
Thank goodness luck was on my side today, ilang minuto lang ay nakarating na kaagad kami sa rooftop. Para akong nasasakal sa loob eh. My mind got blank and I couldn't think of any words to say.
Mars excused herself first dahil may tumatawag sa kanya. Lumayo muna sya samin at sinabing susunod nalang daw sya. Before ka kasi makarating sa rooftop, you need to take few stairsteps pa.
