Chapter Seventy-Three: Girlfriend

Shamie's POV
"We're still not. We haven't talk to my father together yet," sabi ko kay Thaniel,
"Okay, okay." He said, and rest his head to my right shoulder.
"I love you," he whispered, and kissed the back of my hand.
I was about to answer back when someone buzzed on the door again.
"I'll go get it," sabi ko at dali-daling tumayo, heading to the front door.
I took a peek on the peep hole to see who's outside. At dali-dali ko ring binuksan ang pinto nang ma-mukhaan ko sila.
"Noona!"
"Shamie!"
"You guys!"
Sabay-sabay naming sigaw at agad naming niyakap ang isa't isa na parang isang taon kaming hindi nagkita, gayong wala pa namang isang linggo magmula nang lumipat ako ng bahay.
"Come in! Come in!" Masiglang sabi ko sa kanila. The moment I close the door dahil nga lahat sila ay nasa loob na ng pamamahay ko, biglang tumahimik. Well, maliban kay Savie na ngayon ay kalong ko na. I missed him so much.
And there, I saw them looking at Thaniel, confusion were visible on their faces.
"Who's hungry?" I asked that made all of them look at me.
At lahat sila, halos lahat pala sila, sinabing nagugutom nga sila. Good thing I picked a spacious unit. 13 boys are not a joke.
"I'll go get foods," sabi ni Erlyn, at sya na ang dumiretso papunta sa kusina.
And since Erlyn volunteered to get tur foods for the members, umupo na ulit ako sa tabi ni Thaniel. But then it feels so awkward, kasi katabi ko sa kabilang side ko si Jayce, at sa harap ko naman si Walter.
I'm not that numb to not feel that they have feelings for me. Hindi ako nag-a-assume, sila naman mismo yung umamin eh.
"Oppa, can we talk?" I asked, whispering to Jayce.
"Just the two of us?" He asked, so I nodded. I think this is the right time to tell them what I really feel. Kung sino ba talaga yung gusto ko.
"Follow me," sabi ko sa kanya bago ako tumayo.
I'm now heading sa terrace, where we could talk, just the two of us.
"I know what you'll say," bungad agad nya pagkarating nya. And he then gave me a small smile, yung hindi abot sa mata. Yung ngiting hindi mo kita yung saya.
"I'm sorry," I said, and bow my head a little because I can't find any courage to face him, especially now that I'm rejecting him.
"It's okay," sabi nya and chuckled a little. And then ruffled my hair.
"You'll find someone better," sabi ko sa kanya, pero umiling sya.
"I already found you, you're more than the best. It's just that we're not meant to be together, and that's okay." Sabi nya sa akin, that made me think.
I'm a really lucky person to receive loves. And I'm really thankful. But there will always be times that I will feel that I'm not worthy if their love. And I guess that's normal.
"Do you want to talk to Walter too? I'll call him if you want," dagdag pa nya, kaya tumango nalang ako.
"Yes please, I'll be waiting here," sabi ko sa kanya.
