Chapter Seventy-One: His Voice

Shamie's POV
"T-Thaniel!" Gulat kong bati sa lalaking nasa harapan ko ngayon. I didn't expect him to be here agad-agad. At lalong hindi ko in-expect na hindi sya naka-disguise!
"Hi, babe," he said and slightly chuckled.
Nagulat ako syempre when he called me babe. First thing I thought, he's drunk.
I tiptoed and smell his breath, and there I have an answer.
"Oh my God, you're drunk," I blurted out and he just laugh at me.
"I'm not, babe," he said, at nagulat ako when he pulled me closer to him. And he's tightening his grip on me.
"L-Let go--" I couldn't finish the words I want to say because he surprisingly smashed his lips on mine!
And now he's moving it! He's kissing me! The guy I like is kissing me! But I don't like it!
Dahil nga he's drunk. He probably don't mean to kiss me. And that thought hurts.
Itinulak ko sya ng kauntian para lang maghiwalay na ang mga labi namin. I also look at him with pain visible on my eyes.
"Who gave you permission to just kiss me like that, huh?! Who did?!" Tanong ko sa kanya, at medyo napataas ang boses ko.
"What now? Did Sam asked your permission last night? He kissed you too! But I didn't saw you nor heard you complained!" He blurted back and I can't see what's his point!
"Thaniel, you didn't know what exactly happened so please--"
"Shamie Xinae Adler, I like you! Okay?! Like, like you-like you. And I feel jealous everytime a guy talks to you, laugh with you. I am liking you for a long time and I'm sure of my feelings. I like you," he said, obviously cutting me off. Pero, did I heard it right? Or baka bingi lang ako?
"What the hell?" I asked, almost a whisper but enough for him to hear it.
"It's okay if you won't say a thing now. But I assure you, now that I've admitted my feelings for you, expect me to do things a suitor do," hindi parin ako makapaniwala, lalo na sa mga bagay na naririnig ko ngayon mula sakanya.
"From now on, I'm declaring. I'm courting Shamie Xinae Adler," he said and I heard claps and noises coming from the other customers.
He leaned closer to my ear, so I assume that he'll whisper something to me and he did.
"This'll be a good start of our love together, babe." He whispered and kiss me on my right cheek.
And after that commotion that happened, he left. Umalis na sya. That made me think twice. Baka nga lasing sya, baka wala lang sya sa tamang pag-iisip sa mga oras na ito. Tama, bukas ko nalang siguro iisipin kung nagsasabi ba ng totoo si Thaniel.
Binayaran na din namin yung mga pinamili namin and we're now heading back to my unit. I also did the outro for thr video I'll upload para ie-edit ko nalang sya.
Naging tahimik lang ang byahe namin. I didn't talk, until we arrived at my unit. Dire-diretso akong pumasok hanggang sa kwarto ko. Tumigil lang ako sandali para sabihin sa kanila that I need to edit a video and to don't disturb me for a while.
I changed up and grab my laptop and my phone. I thought I was going to edit the vidoes I took, pero I badly want to spill the tea to someone so I ended up dialling my father's number.
This is what I like about Dad, I can talk girly things to him without being awkward. Ang gaan lang sa pakiramdam.
I lied down my bed, inserted earphones on my ears while waiting for my Dad to pick up his phone.
