Chapter Seventy-Four: Home

- - -

Shamie's POV

We're now heading to the mall, where the conference will be held. Ewan ko kung bakit sa mall, pero okay lang din. I was planning to go shopping yesterday. Pagkatapos ng conference, I could fulfil it. Pwede na akong mag-shopping.

"What kind of endearment you want us to call each other? Baby? Babe? Love? Honey? What?" He asked while we're waking, heading to the specific spot where the conference will be held.

"Our names are more than enough, Thaniel," sabi ko sa kanya. He's more like a girl by asking me that kind of question. Ako dapat nagtatanong non eh.

"Nah, I'll call you babe," sabi nya, and that made me smile. Simple things from him definitely would always make me smile.

Nakarating na kami sa mall few minutes after. Thaniel open the door for me. And then he said that now that we're already a couple, we must hold hands. So we did.

We're holding hands while walking, at halos lahat ng mga taong nadadaanan namin, it's either they would greet us, or they would ask for a picture.

When we arrived at the conference hall, tons of questions were asked immediately the moment we sat down.

"What's the real score between the two of you?" Tanong ng interviewer, at maririnig ang ilang hiyawan ng mga tao sa paligid.

That's the first question that's been asked to us, at ngayon, without any doubt, I could answer it wholeheartedly. Yung sure na ako. Kasi may pinanghahawakan na ako.

"We're together. We're a couple now," sagot ko, and hold Thaniel's hand that's on the table.

After I answered that question, screams and loud noises are now enveloping the area. They're not against our relationship, judging by the way they screamed. They actually supports us. I could feel it.

"Who did the first move? I mean, who admitted first?" Sunod na tanong ng interviewer at napatawa ako don.

Sa una akala ko si Thaniel ang sasagot, since technically, sya naman yung unang umamin. Pero napansin ng interviewer yung pagtawa ko, so she asked another shot of question again.

"What seems to be funny, Shamie? Care to share us your thooughts?" She asked, smiling from ear to ear. As if she's really curious by my sudden emotion.

"He admitted first. But I know myself that I'm the one who fell before him. I like him since the day we met. But I'm still doubting that time, because I recently got broke up with my ex-boyfriend," panimula ko at tumingin kay Thaniel, na ngayon ay halata ang pagkagulat sa mukha nya.

"I was denying it everytime I would be ask. And when I'm alone in my room, I would tell myself, maybe I do have a little crush on him. Just a little, I said to myself," sabi ko and chuckled a little.

"He admitted first, but I'm the one who had a crush on him first," pagtatapos ko, at maririnig ang sigawan ng mga tao.

"Okay, that answered the question. That was quite an amusing confession, miss Shamie. Now for the next and last question. Do you think you'll end up marrying each other?" The interviewer asked, and I think this question is should be answeed by Thaniel.

Tumingin ako sa kanya, giving him the cue that he should answer the question.

"If Shamie would say yes, then why not, right?" Muli na namang sumigaw ang mga tao sa paligid.

"Follow up question. Uhm, would you say yes, Miss Shamie?" The interviewer asked.

"Absolutely," I answered.
