C16 of "Travel to the Past". The one that they reminisced.

When Sizhui and Jin Ling relieved their longing towards each other, they started strolling the busy street of Caiyi Town. Every stall has red thin fabric hanging on top, it was said that Dansheng festival was celebrated to ward off the misfortune of Caiyi. The noises of celebration was to tell any evil spirit that their happiness are more than sadness.

Jingyi busied his mouth with all the foods at any stall he passed by while his eyes are glued with the lovers who created their own world and wander the street like no one is looking at them.

"You like this toy, right?" Jin Ling pick one of the butterfly toy made out of straw and showed it to Sizhui who smiled upn seeing it.

Sizhui, "When I was a kid, yes."

Jin Ling, "But you bought once before."

Sizhui, "That time, I actually remembered something back from my childhood. I had memories that someone gave it to me. When the memories are clearer than before, it was Fuqin who bought me toys because Diē didn't bought me one. He just teased me."

"He did that?" Jin Ling felt bad knowing Wei Wuxian made a child expected for nothing.

"Mm. Diē was very poor at that time, he can't really afford to buy one." He chuckled remembering those times.

"Wei Wuxian always love to tease." Jin Ling put back the toys. "Where should we go next?"

"Let's play there." Sizhui pointed the fish scooping game.

"That's so childish." Sizhui pouted his lips. Jin Ling felt some slumped on his throat, seeing Sizhui pouting like a baby. He tempted to kiss him but he didn't. He turned to Jingyi who was handling candied hawthorns on his left while steamed buns on his right. Jingyi specifically reminded them back in the inn not to make mischief while they are outside as there were many eyes around them. "Let's go."

Before Jin Ling could move, Sizhui hold him tight. He turned to asked what's wrong but he met his lips instead.

"Sizhui!" Jingyi yelled at them but Sizhui disregarded him and pulled Jin Ling to the nearest restaurant.

"You silly." Jin Ling laugh as he scold Sizhui after they settled themselves in a table of four.

Sizhui just smiled at him and turned to Jingyi who was glaring at them. "Jingyi, you have eaten so much already. Are you still hungry?"

"Shut up. You just gave me a heart attack. How can you be so bold like that?"

"Everyone was busy."

"I don't think so. Some has still time for rumors."

"Then so be it. I don't intend to hide it anyway." Jin Ling told Jingyi with much confident in himself.

"Hmp!" Jingyi waved his hand as a sign to let go of the talk. "Let's eat. Call the waiter and order my bucket of chicken wings."

Sizhui let out a soft laugh. "As you say so. A-Ling, what do you want?"

"Anything."

"Are you sure?"

"Just don't add vegetables in my food."

"Okay."

"Tss. Can you not be so sweet in front of me? Give me a break."

"I thought you can stand as our third wheeler as long as it will make me happy?"

"I'm taking it back now."
