C65 - No more waiting

"Hey, eat slower. No one is having an eating contest with you." Wen Yang chuckled as he watched Lan Jingyi shoving every pieces of dishes served on the table. His way of eating was so unLan that Wen Yang couldn't believe that Jingyi would act this way infront of him.

"I have been eating bland food this past few days. I'm so hungry." Jingyi complained as he keeps on stuffing his mouth with a piece of chicken Wen Yang personally cooked for him after he found out from Sizhui his favorites.

Wen Yang twitched his brows. "Isn't the food of Lan Sect are all bland?" Jingyi glared at him. He sighed in defeat. "Since you are well now, I can leave today without worry. Just continue to drink the herbal tea to replenish your energy from whatever you are doing."

The piece of meat that Jingyi was supposed to eat stopped mid-air. "You're leaving today already?"

Wen Yang nodded. "Mm. You no longer need my presence here."

"Do...Don't y-you..."

Wen Yang raised his brows as he waited for Jingyi to finish his words. However, Jingyi looked down as he continue eating the meat on his chopsticks. "Yi-gege?"

It took a while for Jingyi to gather some courage. He have been thinking for quite a while and he was still anxious for some things. "Don't you wanna touch me tonight?"

Wen Yang was flabbergasted. Since Jingyi and him wasn't officially together, he decided to not take advantage of him even if he misses touching him. "Yi-gege."

Jingyi poured some tea and stared at it for a moment before he decided to drink it. "Its okay if you don't."

Wen Yang immediately replied. "No. I can leave tomorrow. Yi-gege, I know you miss my touch. You can admit it, I won't mind."

Jingyi was flustered. It was the truth yet he wouldn't want admit it. "Shut up and eat."

Wen Yang chuckled at his reaction. "I love you so much, Yi-gege."

Jingyi blinked. He didn't expect to hear it from Wen Yang. The words seems like he was waiting to hear for so long has been uttered then suddenly, a blurred memory came into his mind. He heard a familiar voice that seems to be like his.

"I have wasted so much time before I believed that he truly loves me. I always have thought that Sizhui was dense but the truth was, I was the dense one. So when he says he loves you, please believe him. He really did. Stop playing hide and seek."

"Yi-gege, are you okay?"

Jingyi shook his head. He shut his eyes tightly and sighed deeply. When he opened his eyes, he looked at Wen Yang with deep soft eyes. "A-Yang." He called.

Wen Yang, "Mm?"

Jingyi, "You're just starting to rebuild your sect. Do you think having me around won't make it harder?"

"Why would it be harder?" Wen Yang flashed his bright smile. "If I have you at my side, I'll always have the reason to keep going."

"Okay. Then..." Jingyi looked at Wen Yang's peach blossom eyes. "...think that I'm at your side in whatever you do."

Wen Yang gaped. "Yi-gege?"

"I will stand beside you. Walk at your side and you can lean on me if you needed some comfort."

"Yi-gege." Wen Yang was in seventh heaven. Those words he had long to hear has finally been said. He was grinning from ear to ear and feels like crying. He can't wait for tonight so he pulled Jingyi for a kiss.

"Wait!" Jingyi opened his eyes widely. His lower garments was being pulled out of his body. "What are you doing? Its not night time yet." He said as he tried stopping Wen Yang from taking his upper clothes off too.
