C36 - Its time

It was quite late at night. Everyone was supposedly fast asleep except to those assigned to patrol and guard at night. However, Jin Ling was still having a hard time sleeping. He haven't touched the herbal tea yet that Jin Chan brought him two hours ago. It might have gotten cold already. He kept on rolling over the bed. Shutting his eyes tightly, forcing himself to sleep. He doesn't want to drink the tea as he was trying not to depend on it. He have been drinking the tea for more than a year now and he decide to stop drinking it to see if he could sleep well without it.

Its been a month since the case in Jinzi mountain and Luo village was resolved. When they went deep in the mountain, they saw some of the children who are being possessed. With Jin Ling's touched, the evil spirits left their body and perished. The childrens who got their consciousness back was too weak to walk so they have to carry them down the mountain. Before they went back, they went to inspect the cave and to their suprised, they are a lot of evil spirits inside. Some tried to escaped but Wei Wuxian successfully sealed them.

When they got back to the Luo village, they found the rest of the children that was successfully captured by the Junior disciples. Jin Ling, with his new discovered power, helped the childrens to go back to normal. He also provided assistance to the village and sent doctors to treat those injured village men.

Still couldn't sleep, Jin Ling decided to get up and stared at the 'Two Hearts' painting hang beside his bed. He remembered the time he spent with Sizhui on his chamber. If they don't make love, they talk about their future plans. Their dreams of being together and wandering the world. Sizhui's last word, even though it seems impossible, he was still holding into it. Though he doesn't know how he will come back considering that his body already turned to ashes, he still desire to see him and be with his embrace again.

"A-Yuan, I'll wait for you. Please come back soon."

Days continued to passed until they no longer notice that its been more than two years since Sizhui left them. Jin Ling, as he have no choice, decided to continue drinking the herbal tea as he accepted that his body already depended on it. Wen Yang, even though he was busy attending his training and meeting renowned doctors, he still have the time to collect herbs and send some to Koi Tower. Gradually, Jingyi started to become livelier again as he free himself from guilt and from the past. Though he still didn't forget to visit Chunshi and clean it from time to time.

Lan Qiren still haven't decided on what to do about the chamber. He sometimes went to look at it from the outside but never dare to stepped inside. No one from the main family has yet decided as to who will be trained to become the next sect leader. The discussion was once opened by the sect elders but Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen ended up dismissing it. When Wei Wuxian once asked Lan Xichen as to why they can't train one new heir yet, he received a dreamy answer.

"I just felt that Sizhui will still be able to fill the position in due time."

Heavenly Realm

A dazzling light enveloped one of the heavenly realm rooms but it also disappeared gradually. The rapid breathing can be heard from the threes souls who were sitting at the floor. They can feel their energy slowing down but the determination in their eyes was still visible.

"You finally made it!"

A big smiled curved on the three soul's lips as they finally perfected the barrier formation. Their energy was weak but that did not stop them from feeling the joy in their hearts when Min Lin greeted them.

Min Lin, "You just have to practice a bit more and you will soon be ready to return to the mortal world to fulfill your mission and be with your families again especially you two, Yanli and Zixuan."

Jiang Yanli stood and saluted. "Thank you, Shen Min Lin." The two also stood and saluted at her.

"How is A-Yuan?" Wen Qing asked.

"I can tell he is ready and prepared now. We will release him as soon as Min Jin release him from the chamber of purification. He has been cultivating there for so long. He will get out anytime." Min Lin smiled at the three. "Go and recover your spiritual power. I will ask him to meet you before leaving the realm."

"Thank you, Shen Min Lin."

In few hours, the room surrounded by water falls was filled with light that can temporary blind anyone's eyes. The water was gone and it changed to a completely empty room. The person who was floating in the air while sitting in lotus position slowly opened his eyes that soon lighted in white. The tall door opened. Min Jin entered the purification room and smiled at the man who was meditating.

"Yuan, they are ready. Its your time."

Sizhui stood and walked towards her for a salute. "Yes, Master." He said as a smile crept on his lips.
