The day started in Cloud Recesses at 5 am. The only noises that can be heard was the morning reading and the early training of the Junior disciples. Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji went to pay respect to their Uncle, Lan Qiren, who just arrived. Lan Sizhui who stayed almost of the day in Chunshi with Jin Ling as he didn't dare to show much especially that his portrait were displayed in Yashi for more than two years since his death and people who have known he was dead might get terrified seeing him. He doesn't want to cause commotion in Cloud Recesses. However, Jingyi delivered him the news that Lan Qiren was back and that Lan Wangji called for his presence.

"Aren't you going to change your clothes? You know it wasn't a good idea to wear that uniform when facing Sir Lan." Jingyi asked him as soon as they left the Chunshi. Jin Ling decided to go to the training field instead of waiting for Sizhui in his chamber.

"I can't change it. I'm not fully resurrected yet so my identity was still a deity's disciple and not a Lan disciple." Sizhui also wore a thin fabric covering his nose to chin. Avoiding other Lan disciples to recognize him. He was also became wary in using his teleportation ability that may cause others a heart attack if he just appeared somewhere in Cloud Recesses suddenly.

"Who is that person?" Lan Qiren asked as soon as Jingyi and Sizhui entered and saluted. "You also wear something on your forehead. What sect do you belong?"

Sizhui glanced at Lan Wangji. He was afraid that he might cause Lan Qiren to have another stroke again once he see him but with a nod coming from his Fuqin, he removed the thin fabric on his face.

Lan Qiren was stunned as soon as he recognized the faint smile of the boy who displayed and showed what a true Lan disciple was. He raised his hand trying to reach him as it was trembling in disbelief. Sizhui immediately went to support him.

"Sir Lan, are you okay?"

"Y-You're finally back. I knew you'll be back." Lan Wangji knitted his brows in confusion and turned to Lan Xichen who were smiling. Jingyi was also confused but Sizhui was more confused as he had watched Lan Qiren before. He saw how pained he was when he died but after few weeks of grieving, he finally accepted what had happened including Lan Xichen. For some reason, the two move on easily. He should be happy but one thing that didn't left his mind was the reason as to why they didn't trained a new heir. He heard them say, 'Sizhui will be back to fill the position'. As to how they could say that, he doesn't know either.

"Sir Lan, I don't understand but how do you knew that Sizhui will be back?" Jingyi asked the question that confuses them.

Lan Xichen was the one who answered him. "There are things that are unexplainable. Though I was really surprise that he did came back but Uncle and I knew this was coming. For some reason, we knew that Sizhui would come back and become your sect leader."

Sizhui knitted his brows. Still confused, "But my resurrection isn't sure yet. I still have to win against the evil deity."

"There are many things in the world for which we find an explanation. Some of these things don’t even need an explanation, sometimes you just have to let it happen. But I believe that the day will come that all of us will be englightened." Lan Xichen meaningfully told them.

"For now, I'm happy to see you again, Sizhui. Welcome back, my Sunzi." Lan Qiren said with a content smile on his face as he patted Sizhui's shoulder.

Sizhui smiled softly. "Thank you, Zufu."

Lan Qiren ordered the removal of Sizhui's portrait in Yashi and his tablet in the ancestral hall. Many of the Lan disciples wondered and have thought that maybe Lan Qiren have finally realized that Lan Sizhui wasn't supposed to be there. They were all waiting if they will soon announced the demolished of Chunshi however, they have seen few people coming in and out of the chamber. One of them was the sect leader of LanlingJin sect and a man who was wearing a thin fabric on his face. While that man's identity was still unknown, he was seen meeting the Senior Head Disciple Lan Jingyi and now supervising the Junior Disciples with their swords training while Wei Wuxian went out for a night hunting with other Junior Disciples.
