Matt: Sorry for bailing yesterday. Caught some awful bug.

Me: Sure you did... Your fine feel better.

Matt: feeling much better :) do you wanna go out later tonight?

Me: sure.

Matt: meet me at the start of the woods by the park at six

Me: alright, see you then <3

I shut of my phone. Yesterday my boyfriend Matt and I were supposed to go to the old drive in type movie that was playing at the park. He unfortunately got sick, so we couldn't go.. I looked at my watch, twelve. I've got time to takes a nap.

*2 hours later*

I woke up to the sound of my text tone going off. I rolled over and turned it on.

Matt: love you!

Me: what do you want?

Matt: nothing!

Me: mhmm

Matt: seriously!

Me: love you too

I slid out of bed and walked toward my closet scanning the outfits. I decided on a jean skirt and a maroon long sleeve crop top. I slipped the clothes on and admired myself in the mirror. I decided on no make up. Matt preferred it that way.

I went downstairs and put on Friends while I waited until it was time to go.

*5:30*

I looked at my phone, 5:30.

I stood up and walked out my front door and to the park. I walked toward the "forest". Matt was already there. I snuck up behind him and wrapped my arms around his muscled abdomen.

"Hey baby. You ready?"

"What're we doing?"

"You'll see." He winked before pulling me into the "forest".

"Close your eyes."

I obeyed. Matt grabbed my hand and led me down the path.

"Matt where are we going?"

"Shhh... We're almost there."

"That doesn't answer my question."

"You have to wait and see."

"How am I supposed to see with you covering my eyes?"

"Magic."

I wished that I could roll my eyes. We walked for about another minute or two.

"Now open!"

I did. There was a projected and a projected screen (I don't know what their called lol). I looked at Matt puzzled expression.

"We are going to have a projected move in the woods." Matt grinned.

I smiled and through my arms around his neck, "Matt you didn't have to go through all this trouble."

"Oh but I did. You were excited about last night and we couldn't go. I had to make it up to you somehow."

"What movie are we going to watch?"

"Guess. I'll give you a hint. It's only the best Disney movie to ever have been made."

"Peter Pan!" I smiled.

"I shouldn't have given you a hint."

"Probably not."

Matt and I laid on the blanket he had laid out. Matt played the movie.

I snuggled into his side. We sat and watched Peter Pan and ate junk food until the sun started setting.

"Isn't the sun set pretty?" I asked looking up at Matt.

"Not as pretty as you."

"Suck up."

Matt bent his head down and kissed me slowly.
