I woke up to a sharp pain in my abdomen. I sucked in a large amount of air. These were the times I absolutely hated being a girl.

I grabbed my phone and pulled up Shawn's texts.

Me: Hey I have to cancel... I have an unwanted guest that decided to come for a visit today.

Shawn: ew... I'll be over with everything you need.

Me: not a smart idea. My moods are going crazy...

Shawn: don't care.

I bit my lip. I really did have the best boyfriend ever. I rolled back over and fell asleep, the nagging pain all but forgotten.

I woke to the smiling face of Shawn. He was rubbing my back slowly. I smiled and rolled over so I was on my side. I flinched and curled my feet up into the fetal position.

"Here baby. I got some pain killers. The lady at Target said Midal works best."

I nodded and took the pills. He gave me a water bottle and I swallowed the pills as quickly as I could.

Shawn stood and walked over to my small television. He popped a DVD in and came and sat next to me. I laid my head in his lap, applying pressure on my abdomen.

"What movie?"

"She's The Man."

I grinned. He really did know me. He leaned over and pulled out a Symphony chocolate bar and passed it to me.

"Who's the best boyfriend ever?" I asked excitedly.

"Still have yet to find one, huh?" He teased.

I ate part if the chocolate. I smiled. My eyelids started to get heavy. I closed them.

"I know you're asleep and can't hear me... But you're amazing and beautiful. I love the way your blue eyes look green in the sunlight and the way your light hair flows down your back like a waterfall. I love you."

I felt my lips twitch at the sound of the last sentence. That was the first time he had ever said those three simple, yet extremely meaningful words.
