Part 2 for JoJoKxng

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*6 years later*

I stood in front of the full body length mirror, admiring the way I looked. I was wearing the dress that I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. I was in a full length white gown with intricate beading in the center of my bust, and down the front (image above). I had straightened my dark hair and pinned it back. I smiled. Today all my dreams were coming true.

"Nervous?" My best friend Mahogany asked as she zipped me up.

"That obvious?" I laughed.

Mahogany giggled, "Don't be. He's head over heels for you."

I blushed. I pictured my groom standing at the end of the aisle.

"Ready?" She asked rubbing my shoulders.

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"Breathe." And with that she walked out. My dad replacing her.

"You look... Wow...." He smiled.

"So good with words." I teased.

He rolled his eyes and stuck his arm out. I laced my arm with his and gripped his arm.

"Don't let me fall." I whispered as 'Here Comes the Bride' rang throughout the house and outside.

"Never."

We walked slowly down the white aisle. I looked down focusing on my footing. I glanced up and my breath was taken from me. Jack was standing at the end of the aisle tears in his eyes. He was dressed in a black tux and he had styled his blonde hair in a quiff. My eyes began to water. My dad stopped and I grasped Jack's hand. He smiled.

The priest began speaking. I wasn't really comprehending anything, my heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest.

"I, JoJo y/l/n, take you Jack Johnson, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day foreword, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cheerish; from this day foreword until death do us part." I smiled.

"I, Jack Johnson, take you JoJo y/l/n, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day foreword, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cheerish; from this day foreword until death do us part." Jack said grinning from ear to ear.

"Do you, JoJo y/l/n, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do." I grinned like crazy. This was it.

"And do you, Jack Johnson, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do." He looked over at me and we both leaned in.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Our lips connected causing sparks to fly like our first kiss. I smiled against his lips causing him to pull away.

"I love you." He grinned.

"I love you." I responded as everyone stood and cheered.

**********

We all sat at round tables as our loved ones stood to speak.

My dad was last, "JoJo. I remember when you first came into the world. You were so small and I was so afraid of hurting you. I never thought that the rules of time would ever apply to you. You were just going to stay little forever. You grew up despite my attempts to keep you a little girl sheltered from the evils of the world. When you told me about Jack I was hurt. I was supposed to be the only man in your life. I realized that I would have to let you go. I'm still working on that. You will always be my little princess even if you grow up and become an old lady. Jack I knew you'd be the one to capture her heart as soon as I saw you. I had to learn to let you. You're going to be a great husband and father. If you hurt her though, I'm not afraid to go to jail. Welcome to the family son!"

Jack looked over at me and raised a hand slowly wiping my tears. I smiled as I looked into his blue eyes. He was mine.

"It's your turn, love." He smiled.

I nodded and stood. I walked up to the stage trying my hardest not to trip. I began my personal vow to my husband and best friend, "I promise to love you without condition, to honor you each and every day, to laugh with you when you're happy, to support you when you're sad, to guide you when you ask for direction, to challenge you to be a better person... and to allow you to do the same for me. to be your biggest fan, and your ever listening audience." I was crying now and Jack's eyes were watering.

I smiled weakly as I stepped down from the stage. I sat beside Jack.

He walked up to the mic and grinned, "Well it's gonna be hard to top that." He smiled.

I rolled my eyes as everyone laughed.

"Here goes nothing. From this moment, I take you as my best friend for life. I pledge to honor, encourage, and support you through our walk together. When our way becomes difficult, I promise to stand by you and uplift you, so that through our union we can accomplish more than we could alone. I promise to work at our love and always make you a priority in my life. With ever beat of my heart, I will love you." He grinned and came to sit next to me. I was in tears yet again. He grasped my hand.

Gilinsky stood up and went to the mic, "Now that those thoughtful words were said... Let's TURN UP!!"

I laughed as Groove rang through the speakers.

"Self promo?" I teased.

"Why not take advantage of the situation. Here I got you this." He held out a picture frame.

I looked down at it and my heart melted. It was bold letters that together read,

"I feel like everything in my life has led me to you. My choices, my heartbreaks, my regrets. Everything. And when we're together, my past seems worth it. Because if I had done one thing different, I might never met you."
"I love you."

"I love you more. Now let's go dance." He smiled as 'I Meant It' began playing.
