"C'mon Tyler! If we don't hurry it'll be to dark to go."

"Coming, Erin." My little brother called.

He ran down the stairs his blonde hair bouncing. He was wearing a batman cape and mask. I grinned.

"Are you ready?"

"Yeah!" He looked up at me with large blue eyes full of excitement.

"Let's go." I grabbed my keys and took him out to the car. He ran in front of me, his cape flying out. He put his fist in the air immigrating the superheroes he had seen on TV.

"What're you doing?" I asked grinning.

"Flying!"

"Batman doesn't fly."

"Then why does he have a cape?" Tyler put his fists on his hips.

"So he can glide."

"What does that mean?" He asked climbing into his car seat.

"It means to float on the air." I buckled him up and shut the door.

"Erin?"

"Hmm?"

"Will you play with me today?" He asked sweetly as I pulled out of the driveway.

"Of course."

"Yay!" Tyler smiled a huge toothy smile and looks out the window.

Gosh I loved that kid.

*skip the rest of the car ride*

"Let's go!" Tyler was hopping in his seat while I got out of the car. We were the only ones at the park.

"Okay. Hold on." I unbuckled him an he jumped out of the car and ran to the playground fist straight foreword again.

I walked up to the park to find an anxious Tyler.

"You took forever."

"Sorry little man I'm not as young as I used to be."

"You're only seventeen."

"And your five. That's a twelve year difference."

"Whatever! Let's play! You're Rachel."

"Okay."

"You have to go by the slide. The Joker kid napped you."

I walked up the stairs and sat by the too of the slide. I put my hands behind my back pretending to be tied up.

"Help! Anyone! Please!" I cried pretending to be scarred.

"Swoosh." Tyler said running up the stairs.

He stood by me and started untying the fake rope around my hands. I looked up at him.

"Who are you?" I asked pretending to be frightened.

"I am Batman." Tyler said making his voice deeper.

I smiled, "Batman look out! The Joker is behind you!"

Tyler turned and started punching and kicking the air, "Run! Get out if here." He shouted at me. I slid down the slide and ran to the picnic table.

Tyler came running toward me arms stretched out. I picked him up and spun him around.

"My hero!" I said as I set him down.

"You're really good with him." A deep voice said behind me.

I turned around and saw a boy who looked like he was about my age with piercing blue eyes and dark hair.

"Um... Thanks..."

"What's your name little man?" The boy asked looking at Tyler.

"Tyler."

"Well, Tyler. My sister is over on the playground, if you wanted to play with her."

"Can I Erin?"

"Sure. Be nice."

"Batman is never nice!" Tyler said running towards a pretty blonde little girl.

"This batman better be!"

"I'm Hayes." The boy said.

"Erin." I smiled.
