"Hayes' POV*

I ran out of after Adelisa expecting her to be sitting in the driveway like she usually was. She wasn't there.

"She's really gone." I whispered.

I started crying as I went back into the house. I picked up my phone and dialed Nash.

"Yo, Haas! What's up?" Nash's loud voice boomed through my phone.

"Nash?" I croaked my throat raw.

"Hayes? What's wrong?" Nash asked worried.

"Adelisa... she's gone..."

"Go after her you idiot! Girls like that kind of stuff."

I hung up and grabbed my keys running out to my truck. I started the engine and sped out toward the highway. I saw Adelisa's car up ahead a bit.

Thank goodness you didn't get far. Please see me...

A semi truck was heading straight for her small car.

"ADELISA!" I yelled out trying to warn her of the danger quickly approaching.

Both vehicles colided.

"NO!" I slammed on my brakes and jumped out of the truck, my feet burning as I hit the black asphalt. I ran to the car dialing 911.

"911 what's your emergency?" The operator aksed.

"My girlfriend was just in an accident. I need help!" I was panting as I came to a stop by Adelisa's door.

"Sir, please calm down. Where are you?"

I responded quickly.

"We've sent responders out."

"Thanks." I hung up.

I peered inside the glass and broke. Adelisa was slumped over the steering wheel a trickle of blood running from her forehead, down her face. There was a cut along her neck and she was pale.

The paremedics showed up pushing me out of the way. They pried open the door. They lifted Adelisa out of the car careful not to cause any additional injuries. They placed her onto a gurnie and into an ambulence. I jumped into my truck and followed them to the hospital.

                                                                                  ********

I was sitting next to Adelisa's bed running my hands through her long brown hair. Tears ran down my face and onto the cold stone floor.

Her blue eyes fluttered open slowly.

"Thank goodness you're okay!" I said leaning down and kissing her softly.

She pulled away quickly, fear in her eyes.

"I'm sorry but who are you?"
