CHAPTER 13

When Rishi had lost his bet to shruthi, he did not think it would be hard for him to even spend an hour without seeing her, or talking to her or even hearing her voice. She seemed busy. He even waited for a whole day in the cafeteria but she was no show. During surgeries some days he would sit in the observation rooms and watch her. He missed her a lot.

On day six when he saw her smile at him and extend a hand towards him, He heard Dr.Shilpa scream "hold her somebody, she's gonna fall off the railings"

Thats when he noticed she was swaying, her eyes were fixated and she collapsed on the ground. Rishi ran by jumping 3 to 4 steps at a time to reach her. Doctors were there and she was surrounded by many nurses. Ri was in tears.

He was waiting for a chance to visit her. when Shruthi's name flashed in his screen for psych evaluation his spirits were high. He was standing outside he could see her image on the door. He stood there listening to the all girls talk and was admiring Shruthi laugh.

He knocked because He found Sk watching him, otherwise he would have stood there and let them enjoy.

Rishi needed to focus on his job. He first thought something was wrong with him. Then he thought something was wrong with her. He knew that he had fallen for her. His feelings for her had made him, put a hold on to investigating her further.

He felt like a worm when shruthi asked him to grow up. He wanted to show her who he really was. He was ready to unearth all her secrets. Now his concentration was all on her.

Sk had called for a meeting Prashanth Malathy & Rishi were present

"After much thought, the plan that Prashanth proposed to publicly discredit The Witch doctor, I think it will work So pour in some ideas of how we are going to start it."

"We go to the Newspapers and show them how The Witch doctor is manipulating the masses. WE show them our drug result and shame them" Malathy proposed

"That won't work" Rishi said before Sk could respond Rishi was deep in thoughts

"Yes I'm with Rishi. WE cannot say its about us or about our drug", Sk told Dr.Malathy

"This guy! whoever it is must have some agenda with you Dad... ah.. Sir," Prashanth continued, "Do you know anyone who would have a grudge so long?"

"There are many, can't name each one of them", Sk was looking at Rishi.

Sk loved how Rishi's mind worked. The question and answer would be from there. Just like his mom.

"Rishi we are waiting for your opinion" Prashanth shook him

"I don't think The Witch Doctor is a website owned by a guy. I have gone through the website from the first article that was published. Even though the blog was started some 9 years back, only 7 years back Em fort was mentioned but its been only calling up for participants for some research. If its not by us then why are they calling people? There is no direct mention about any side effects. only 5 years back The Witch doctor became a hit after the website started exposing doctors. On and off side effects of drugs were also being said. But inbetween for a time period of 6 months no articles were published. We need to concentrate on that 6 months why a break? plus that detailed studies on various menstrual drugs and exposing a playboy doctor i'm sure its a female but still,
Wait till their next article arrive which is today and then decide."

"I think in another 30 minutes or so their new article will be up,"Prashanth said checking the WD website

Sk sat next to Rishi "YOU ok", he asked in a low voice
