I was relieved after the interview and drove back to the hotel. I called my parents and they congratulated me. I told them that I start to work at the beginning of February. They were happy for me but sad at the same time because I leave them sooner then they thought. I told them about the pre-furnitured apartment Mr Horner showed me. After talking to my parents about it I decided to rent it and I actually received the keys before I fly back to the Netherlands.
The next day, Mr Horner scheduled a factory tour for me so I know where I have to be when I start my job. He showed me my work area (picture above) which will be the most important. After that he literally showed me the whole factory. I think I won't remember most of it anymore when I come back but that's fine to me.

»back in the Netherlands «
I arrived back home and celebrated my new job with my family. Since the apartment is already furnitured, I don't need to buy anything. I will fly back to the UK on January ,25th so i can arrange everything and get along with the new situation. I packed almost all of my stuff and shipped it to my apartment already.

It is the 25th of January and I walk into my room to get the last things I need before leaving. My parents and I drove to the airport. I felt some tears appearing in my eyes while we walked through the airport. At the check-in my parents and I had to say goodbye to each other. We all left some more tears but the happiness predominated. I waved at them one last time and walked to the gate.

»arrival at the apartment, a few hours later«
When I arrived at my apartment, it was already dark outside. I ordered postmates on the way here, deciding to go grocery shopping tomorrow. I ate and layed in bed immediately after. I'd unpack my clothes tomorrow as well.

I unpacked my moving boxes in the following days and went for groceries. I explored the town I live in and kinda fell in love with England straight away. I was overwhelmed when I received a message from Mr Horner, telling me that they'll bring my car to my apartment today. I adjusted with all the new things that happened in the past few days and now look forward to my first day tomorrow.

My alarm woke me up at 6.30 and I rolled out of bed and went into the shower. I got dressed in my team wear and put my hair into a ponytail, applying light make up as well. I left the house at 7.30. It only takes me 15 minutes to the factory but I don't want to be too late on my first day. I arrived at 7.50, greeted the friendly Secretary from the front desk I remember from my interview and walked into the sport area, my work space. I got introduced into the system they work with and logged into my account, checking my appointments for today.
I was working on my PC when I heard a knock on the door. "Yes please" I say and turned around to see who it was. A young man appeared and I knew him straight away - Max Verstappen. He walked towards me with a smile on his face, holding his hand out. "Hi I'm Max nice to meet you." he says. "Hi Max I'm Amalia nice to meet you too.". I replied smiling at him. "So you're the new physical therapist for me and Daniel now." he says and I nod towards him. We decided to talk about what he expects me to do as his physical therapist and i told him about my plans. Since we had similar points we quickly started with his session.
"Thank you very much for this first session, you did such a great job." Max says after I finished my very first therapy. I smiled and thanked him. Max and I had a long conversation throughout his whole session and he seems to be such a nice person. We both said goodbye and Max was halfway out of the door when he asked me if I want to join him for lunch. I accepted his offer and felt a smile appear on my face. I was so happy that all of the people I've met here accepted me from the very beginning.
