The next days went as they usually do. Track walk and interviews on Thursday, free practices on Friday and another free practice on Saturday morning. We are now just 20 minutes away from qualifying and I got myself a coffee from the hospitality area and are on my way back to the garage. I met Sebastian on my way and we talked for a while. He had to leave to his garage because of the qualifying and I wished him good luck. I sat back down in my chair in the garage and waited for the start.

" Who's ready for Baku?" I hear someone ask behind me and turn around. It was Daniel who walked up to me. "I wish you good luck and a lot of fun out there." I told him and gave him a hug. "Thank you little one." he answered. " Little one? No I'm not that small." I pouted. He pulled me into another hug to cheer me up. "And please be safe out there." I added. Daniel looked at me, deep eye contact and replied "Always, There's a lot to loose.". I don't know exactly what he meant and I just nodded before he sat down in his car. I wished Max good luck and fun in qualifying and added that he needs to come back safe as well. "Alstublieft Amilia." he says giving me a warm smile and a hug just like Daniel. He also sat down in his car and the qualifying started.

The results were gratifying. P4 for Daniel and P3 for Max. They weren't able to be faster than the Mercedes but that's fine. After two sessions with both Daniel and Max it's already 7 pm. Blair called me midway through my session with Max, asking me if I want to go to the spa with her today. I agreed on that and after I arrived back at the hotel, I got ready. We walked to the spa, deciding to have a relaxing time in the steam sauna.
After the sauna we decided on a few drinks in the hotel bar. We changed into normal clothes and sat down at the bar. "Let's take some shots." Blair said while reading the menu. I agreed and we started a round of disaster....

"If I was you I'd totally fu** him." Blair screamed through the bar. I placed my hand on her mouth, but only earned giggles. "Shut up, you can't scream that around." I said in shock but the alcohol made me laugh as well. " I'm just being honest, you should." she replied. No matter in what conditions we are, she always brings up the topic with Daniel. I just want to do my job here and I cannot risk that I bring him and/ or myself in an awkward situation. "I maybe have to push you into the right direction." she said, mostly to herself. I simply shook my head no. All of a sudden she grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the bar. "What the.... What are you doing?" I ask her. I knew I had too much alcohol, again. I really need to stop drinking.
" What are we doing on this floor, neither my or your room is here." I asked confused as she pulled me out of the elevator. Before I realized where we are, she knocked on someone's door.

Daniels POV:
Around 9.30 pm I recognized a knock on my door. I opened it to see Amilia and Blair, obviously not sober anymore, in front of me. "Hey girls are you alright?" I ask because Blair was laughing the whole time. Amilia on the other hand looked confused. " Daniel my friend, could you do me a favor and take a look at Amilia, she had too many shots at the bar." Blair explained to me while trying not to fall onto the ground. I just nodded and grabbed Amilia's arm to support her. A smirk appeared on Blair's face when Amilia looked at her. "I told her not to drink that much." Blair said. " No you didn't, you initiated it." Amilia answered. But before she finished her sentence Blair simply left with a short 'Have fun.'

" Come on inside with me Amilia, I just want to make sure you're ok, if you want to I can bring you back to your room afterwards." I told her while walking back inside. "I'm so sorry to disturb you, that wasn't my plan." She said while looking outside the window. I recognized that she was still confused.... Or in thoughts? I placed my hand on her shoulder, I kinda want to ask her what's going on. "I'm sorry Daniel, I never thought this would happen. I thought I'd stay professional." She started talking but it was out of context. What was she sorry about? She always was and is professional.....
I heard a few sobs from her which pulled me back into reality. "Hey hey shhhh it's ok." I turned her around, hugging her. She left some more tears on my shirt when she whispered "I think I have feelings for you...".
My eyes got wide, I wasn't sure if I understood her right and if she knows what she's saying. Is it because she's drunk? But if she really means it..... does that mean she has the same kind of feelings for me than I have for her...and is she maybe too scared because she thought I don't feel the same? Just as I thought..... and she probably had the same doubts because we work together....
All of these questions were in my head and I want the answer.
