I didn't expect that packing my suitcase will stress me out that much. I didn't know what to pack nor what I wanted to wear. The only thing that was ready was my passport, my flight ticket and my paddock pass. That's the things that I checked on three more times even though I know I have them. I never expected for it to take me basically all day but it did. Finally I had everything in my suitcase and was ready to go. I soon went to sleep since my flight goes early in the morning. I was surprised by how well I fell asleep since I was both nervous and excited. I don't know how they will react but I hope they will like it.
My alarm went off at 5 am in the morning. I got up and was wide awake, not because I slept so much but because the excitement took over. I got ready, put my hair up in a ponytail and got dressed. After checking my things for the 100th time I finally left the apartment on my way to the airport. At 6 I was already through the check in and waited for the boarding.

Flight AD54678 is now boarding. Please line up and check in on your flight.
I got up and went through the boarding which luckily didn't took too long. Only 20 minutes later I sat down in my assigned seat in the plane. I already put my phone in airplane mode and hope that Daniel won't try to call me and be concerned that he can't reach me. I already thought about what the time plan says when I arrive. Today is Friday, I wasn't able to catch an earlier flight so when I arrive it should be right in between practice 1 and 2. I'll check into the hotel then, change into different clothes and go to the track. But first, I'll have 6 hours in front of me.
My nervousness increased during the flight. After 6 hours we landed in Abu Dhabi. It was pretty warm as I expected and I took a couple breaths to enjoy it. I then went to get my luggage and head to the hotel. I checked in and took the elevator to my room. Since I was too excited to unpack I only took out my clothes I wanted to wear and changed into them.

I looked at myself in the mirror and was really happy with the outcome. I decided to wear a pink blouse dress, add white sneakers and a little bit of jewelry. I took everything I needed and left the hotel on my way to the circuit.
I arrived at the circuit and it felt like coming home. I was as impressed as the first time I ever went to an F1 race. I checked in with my paddock pass and looked around. The smile never left my face when I finally found the Red Bull garage. I walked in and saw Christian standing there with Max, Max facing me with his back. Christian smiled brightly when he saw me which left Max confused. "What?" he asks before Christian walked over to me to pull me into a hug. "Welcome back, we Are so glad you're here Amilia." he said and I thanked him. I saw Max standing there, all surprised, unsure if he really sees me or if he's dreaming. "Amilia what? How? Why didn't you tell anything?" he asks in disbelief as he pulls me into a hug. "I wanted to surprise all of you, the doctor allowed me to be here, since my health is better." I explained and I felt he was holding me tightly. "I always knew you'd be back, you fought like a lion." he whispered since he put his head into my neck. " Are you crying?" I ask, also whispering. He nodded into my neck and that was it, I couldn't hold it anymore. Tears left my eyes as well, never have I thought I'd be so happy to be here.

After greeting every single one of my colleagues I went into the hospitality area to see Blair. I walked in and saw her, fully concentrated on what she was doing. "Can I please order a coffee?" I ask and she looked up in disbelief. "What the hell Amilia? You are here? You're back, omg you're finally back thank god." she basically screamed and hugged me. I hugged her back and we stood there for what felt like hours. Never have I been this happy in my life. After talking and explaining to her how it all happened that I was able to be here, I recognized someone outside of the building. I hoped it was not Daniel since I want to surprise him in his garage. I talked to his performance coach Michael who made the plan with me. But first of all, I took a closer look outside to see Lando. And he seems to see me too. I ran outside and straight into his arms. "I can't believe to finally see you outside of the hospital." he said while holding me tight. "Same, I'm so happy to be here." I replied. "So fully back to normal or?" he asks and I nod. "Healed." I answered. I didn't want to let Lando go but he had to get ready for his second practice. I never thought that someone besides Daniel and Max could be such a comfort person to me. And I'm so happy about it.
