It was hard not to realise that Ushijima wasn't behaving like himself. He was super aggressive and on a different tempo than I am usually used to.

As I buttoned my dress, I was nervous about people finding out what happened to the locker room. I tried not to overthink it.

"y/n, you good?" Tiph asked me. She probably realised I zoned out for a while.

I nod nervously and carry on watching the match.

The match intensity just increased.

The third set started a few minutes ago.

The boys were playing like crazy animals. It wasn't even a volleyball match anymore. It was literally a war—a war of strength and patience.

Suddenly someone sat near me.

"Oh I wish I wanted to support the Zeldians but damn Japan taking this match." The person said.

I look beside. It was Victor.

"Victor?" I ask.

He greeted with a smile. I couldn't believe beside him was Yuri.

"oh..my.." Tiph almost stood up. Kyla's whispers and panic just grew.

"It's so..nice..to meet you.." I stumble. Yuri was so nice. He kindly smiled.

"SCORE!!!!" the announcers loud voice broke my attention. Japan scored a point. It was from Aran.

We all shifted to the match.

Aran's girlfriend was beside Kyla. Aran winked at her. She was blushing.

Kyla was teasing her. So was Bailey. I smiled at its cuteness.

My eyes suddenly gazed upon Ushijima, and I knew he couldn't do anything like that to me. I drew my lips in. I acted like I didn't see him looking at me. Nonetheless, I saw him drawing his lips in and silently softly smiling.

Why he drives me crazy with the simplest expressions.

Rest of the match, each team scored alternatively. Zeldians weren't a joke. They were equally a good match against Japan. They knew how to use Japan's weaknesses against them.

However, people like Rin, Aran and Kageyma covered the loopholes and missed tracks.

The intensity again grew. The match point, the rally went on. Each side tired.

Kageyama injured.

"NO FUCKING WAY THATS FOUL....!!!!" I heard Kyla yell. Along with her, several people yelled.

Hinata looked frustrated.

It wasn't only Kageyama's injury. Zeldian got the point. Apparently, the referee didn't see the ball was out, and the Zeldians blocked the sight of the ball.

"The judges are fucking blind wtf...." I heard from somewhere.

The court was in chaos.

I see Iwa looking at us. Maybe the in-game support staff needed more help. I quickly get up with Kyla, Tiph and Bailey and run outside and go to the infirmary.

Time-out. Break time.

I went to the infirmary while others looked after the rest of the boys. Offering energy drinks and fruits to energize.

Kageyama's wrist was swollen. I put ice pack. Hinata came running to the room.

"Are you okay ...?" Hinata almost sobbed and yelled.
