Sky’s POV

I just found my mother smoking. Sheez. She rarely smokes. It’s either she’s tensed, depressed, or angry. Right now, I bet she’s problematic. Add it up on the list.

“How’s your brother?” she asked after puffing.

I sat next to her and opened my iphone. “Just watch it,” I told her.

I captured a video of Cloud a while ago. Ganda eh. Pang best actor. Joking aside. I just want to record and it show it to Arabelle in case she decides to leave Cloud.

“This is too much,” Mom said in a very pissed tone. “How could he say all of this?! Napakaselfless talaga ng kapatid mo!” I can understand you Ma pero anong magagawa natin? He’s too in love that it could kill.

Mama could just burst into tears as she listen. Yes, listen. Di niya kayang Makita si Cloud na nagkakaganyan.

“….Tulungan mo naman kami diyan sa taas………Madalang ako magdasal eh pero ngayon…..minu-minuto akong humihingi ng tulong sa kanya….naririnig mo rin ba? Pa, kulitin mo rin siya ah. Iextend niya naman kahit hanggang sa magkaanak ako at makapag-asawa na yung anak ko…Ayos ba? Pero Pa, kapag di talaga umubra kay Mama yung pakiusap ko patawarin mo ako pero susuway talaga ako…itakwil pa niya ako. Sabihin mo kay Mama hindi bagay sa kanya magkontrabida….”

“Am I one of those wicked mothers?” My mom asked.

“You know what Ma? Yes, kasing elegent mo na nga sila eh,” I tried lifting the mood up but it was put in no use. I forgot my mother knows too well that she defines elegance. “Ma, please stop smoking. Just do yoga to help you think. Okay?”

“Sky…I need to talk to your brother. Bring him home as soon as possible,” she said with finality. How could I refuse? Huh?

Now, I wanna thank the good bro above because the problem I have to face everyday of my life is those oldies. I wish you luck Cloud.

Everything is just to much for you Cloud, but I wanna believe that you’ll get through this.

“Kuya Sky! Where are you?”

“Who’s this?”

“Peter. Where are you?”

“Bahay. Why? Kasama niyo ba si Cloud. Hindi ko macontact ang gago.”

“He got caught. His phone has been crushed into pieces.”

“What? Paano nangyari yun? I dropped him off in the university. He’s with Belle. How’s Belle?”

“She’s in the hospital. Hinimatay siya bigla nung iniwan siya ni Cloud. We don’t know the whole story yet. I’m trying to get in touch with the Zultans. Sila lang naman ang nakabangga namin eh.”

“This is getting horrible. Sige na. Keep me updated.”

Police won’t do any good at the moment. Plus, they’ll refuse to attend the matter since wala pang 24 hours nawawala si Cloud. I shouldn’t tell Mama, lalo lang siyang mamomroblema.

I decided to pay Belle a visit at the hospital first.

“Nakita na ba si Cloud?” tanong agad ni Roi sa akin. Umiling ako. “They’re getting nasty,” he said. “You know, I left the group to avoid all of this shit.”
