LISA'S POV
Coach Jessi drove us to the town for our weekly Physical Therapy.
During the travel, I'm starting to see everyone putting up decorations for Christmas. It's probably for the tourists I suppose, we're not really fond of Christmas and I'm not that kid who is a huge fan of Ded Moroz (Santa Claus/ Saint Nicholas)
I remember back when I was an orphan, we recieved a lot of gifts from Moroz, I remember Chaeng sitting on his lap, and she asked for a family as a present.
Of course she did get one eventually, I even wished to have a brand new figure skates that time and I got one, and it's from Matthew, Somi's dad.
Matthew adopted me and by the time we reached home, I met mom.
Growing up, I realized that the reason why they adopted me because they wanted to have a child. Of course over the years they managed to have two girls through process of having my mom's eggs fertilized with dad's sperm through injection and having her remaining eggs be kept in somewhat a freezer. I'm not really an expert on these things.
Somi came in, and lastly, Evelyn.
I heard it's expensive as hell no wonder my parents couldn't afford it at first and they just adopted me at first.
"Why is Santa Claus blue? I'm really curious." Jennie asked, both of us are now sitting at the bench in line for the therapy, this girl has been watching Ded Moroz on the small TV across from us. I looked down on her hand that's holding mine, her hand is small compared to my hand. "Ah, Ded Moroz... he's Russian." I replied.
I honestly don't know why he's blue, I just know he wears different coat and he has this cute little helper which I assume is his grand daughter.
"How many years did you even stay in Russia?" I asked her, "Mm... when I was 15-ish. I can't really remember." Jennie replied, she started to swing both of her legs while we sit.
What a cute munchkin.
"Almost 6 years and you still have no idea at all?" I asked her, "My mom is complicated okay? Sometimes we stay here then later on we fly back to Korea then again, fly back here after a week or month. It's hard to adapt, and I get confused that I had to learn different languages all the time."
