Recap:
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey," he replied.
And right then, right then I figured out why Clarissa was so angry. This should be interesting...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Felicity's P.O.V.
"Niko." I stated, both surprised and angry.
"Hey Felicity," he said."Why are you calling me?" I asked, trying to figure out what he wanted before he started trying to win me back. If I stop him before he starts, maybe I'll be able to say no.
"I think we both know the answer to that," he replied.
"Well, if the answer is what I think it is, then you should probably just go away." I said shakily, hopefully not shaky enough for him to notice. My resolve was breaking.
"Please, I want you back." He said desperately, well supposedly desperately. It's probably just a part of his act.
"Yeah, no. Probably a bad idea." I said, trying to end this conversation before it started.
"Why?" He asked.
"Just think about that for a second," I replied.
"Think about what for a second?""Think about how things like this have ended between us before." I wish he would just drop it and go away..
"Oh," he said.
"Yeah," I replied.
"Just give me one more chance. Please."
"That's what you said last time."
"Please, just this one last time."
"You say that every time."
"Please. I'll do anything to get you back."
"Why?""Because I still like you and I want you back. I'll do anything."He is not making this easy. I thought I was over this..
"Why did my sister even let you stay on the phone anyways?" I asked rudely, my last defence against him.
"She said something about how you'd put me in my place this time," he said. I rolled my eyes.
"I don't know.. remember the last time?" I reminded him, although reluctantly. I don't know why I didn't just hang up.
"At that time, I still wasn't over someone. But I'm over them now, and I want you back." I wish he would stop saying that... a distraction would be great. Someone please give me a reason to hang up. Just then I seen Zayn walk into the kitchen. Yes!
"Look, I have to go," I said into the phone. "Goodbye," I said, and hung up before he could reply.
"Who was that?" Zayn asked me.
"No one important," I lied.
"Ok." I could tell he didn't believe me, but thankfully, he dropped the subject."The boys and I are going to play Twister, do you want to join us?"
"No, I think I'm going to go for a walk. Thank you, though. Maybe Clarissa will play. Make sure to introduce her to the boys, she isn't a fan." With that, I walked outside, leaving him standing in the kitchen.
After walking the three blocks to my favorite coffee shop, 'The Mighty Bean,' I quickly ordered an ice cap and sat down. I sat there for about twenty minutes just thinking. Wondering why Niko was all of a sudden trying to be a part of my life again, and why now, just when I get my brother back.
I really needed a stress reliever. I walked over to the karaoke sign up sheet, and seen there was an opening in five minutes. I signed my name in the slot and sat back down to wait.
About five minutes later, Tony, the karaoke host, was onstage introducing me. I stood up and walked to the stage. I told the band what song to play, and took my place center stage. After a few deep breaths, I signaled them to start, and the first chords of 'Clarity' by Zedd started to play.
